Layout is open. Even on the third floor, very spacious during busy hours. Second level offers a sort of hideaway for those who might be a tad overwhelmed by the third floor. Offering of three formal mocktails on the menu is great - really enjoy the yuzu beverage. Fries were the unexpected highlight — McDonald’s style and flavor. Mac and cheese was okay. The chicken sando was exactly as described and delicious. Hit the spot.

Update. March 9 2024. Happy face... food WAAAAAYYYYY improved! We came planning to not eat so only got charcuterie board. 3 of us shared both. Absolutely excellent board. Sad face - food changed. Used to be amazing pizza and wings. Now possibly the smallest hot dog available. Prices unrealistic to quality. Apparently owned by third floor group. Which brought you the interesting tinned fish menu. Eh. Don't come for the food

We abandoned our drinks. Tried to fix the strawberry champagne marg in a taller glass but not any better. Tropical Tempest was bitter. Haunter was not drinkable. Hefeweizen, have had better.

We love The Veil. A wide variety of beers, many different types of IPAs, sours, smoothies, and dark beers. The stouts pack a serious flavor and ABV punch. The food is good too, love the burgers. The new cocktail bars on the second and third floor are a great addition and make it a good place to for everyone to find a great drink that’s up their alley.

Super Bowl Wings (36 pre-order) were perfect! They got all our 'special requests' just right. We always ask for extra crispy wherever we go... they got it just right! Plenty of sauces and celery. Oh, the Bleu cheese dressing is LOADED with... Bleu Cheese! Very pleased! Thanks!

The space is visually awesome. It definitely breathed some life into my container building visions. I went during a special evening event so only 2nd and 3rd floor were open and we had to wait in line to enter due to the capacity. Music was decent, we ate light, vibes were cool however bartenders on top floor could have been more pleasant. Would like to visit again to get a daytime experience, check out the vinyls and explore more of the menu

While the vibe, space, and food here are great, many of the wide selection of beers on tap lack the maturity of better breweries. Like the Veil in RVA, you are presented with some really compelling flavor ideas, only to be disappointed at the execution. Classic styles are also subpar, lacking a fullness and with a flavor that I can only describe as watery.

This review is for ONLY YOU LOUNGE on the 3rd floor of The Veil. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star is because they switch to a late night menu that only serves one item at 845. Otherwise this place is AMAZING! The aesthetic and vibe is unmatched! It's the perfect place for a date night, a business meeting, a girls night, a friend date, etc. it is warm and inviting while it also has good music that isn't too loud you can't hear yourself talk! Our server was Jazz, and she was great! She was knowledgeable about the menu and just super fun. I had the espresso martini. I've never had one before, and it was SO good! We also had the chopped cheese (tastes just like you're in a Bodega in NY), the fries (just like McDonald's), the oysters, and the beer battered brussel sprouts! Everything was top tier! Oh and let's not forget the old school Photo Booth they have which a cool, fun addition to the place! Will definitely be back on a regular.

Great beers and food. Lots of parking. Solid place to go for lunch. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Seating on second floor and the first floor.

I have been to several Veil locations, and this is definitely one of the best I have been to. The brewery is clean, organized, and well-staffed. It has lots of seating options and different types of seating for different groups. Drink selection was pretty good, especially for the winter. I wished they kept a Pilsner on tap for the winter for variety, but understand that it is not in season. I also got a burger and fries here, and a fried pickle appetizer. I was very impressed. The fried pickles were pretty standard, but I liked the dipping sauce they came with. The burger was excellent; it is probably the best I've had at a brewery. Two smashed patties that were cooked excellent and had a lot of flavor. The burger sauce paired very well. The fries were great too - salty and crispy!I like the Veil and their drinks. This was an excellent location that they have. I would definitely recommend to those in the area.

Reviewing ONLY YOU Bar since they don’t have a Google review. The new Scottie Quixx! Only closer to neighborhoods. Not great.
