The single best coffee roaster in Hampton Roads bar none. They roast single origin coffees to perfection for my at-home pour-over. You get a free coffee drink with the beans you purchase so I always get their espresso. I try my best with my at-home setup but mine pales in comparison to their espresso, I'll be sticking to my pour-overs and leaving the espresso to the professionals. The breakfast sandwiches are also quite nice. But the coffee's where it's at.The space is also super cool for hanging out with your coffee and getting some work done.

Always love smiles and friendly service at a coffee shop or local coffee roaster.Craig at Three Ships Coffee Roasters was that and more with his friendly and knowledgeable service.Even better (maybe most importantly) how’s the coffee? It’s wonderful.I had an espresso, a cold brew, and even tried a bit of the drip. All of them were dialed and delicious.…and so were the pastries. House made Gluten free muffin was super tasty.Everything about three ships is balanced and beautiful.People, design, food, and coffee.Bravo!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Muffin

I just popped in while passing by and ordered a special coffee. It's called 'Pollen Sucks'($6.69), and I decided to try it because I've been suffering from pollen allergies lately? . The latte with local honey? 'Pollen Sucks' was very satisfying and just right. The interior design was spacious, stylish, and enjoyable. Overall, a great experience.

Very welcoming and kind atmosphere. I got an iced vanilla latte which was pretty good. My partner got the ham and cheese croissant which was also AMAZING, it was so warm, buttery, and the croissant itself was so flaky!Dietary restrictions: I am extremely lactose intolerant and luckily they did have a few milk alternatives. I got oat milk instead of whole milk and it tasted very yummy! I believe they also offer almond cashew milk.

First cafe to ever charge me extra for ordering a half-caf drink. I tried to kindly explain to the barista how he could grind half regular beans and half decaf, but he insisted with a slight attitude that he had to charge me extra for an additional shot. I've been to numerous cafes and this is a first. I am especially disappointed given that their coffee is already on the more expensive side (which I am fine with, but it's important that the service matches the price and it didn't).

Walked down to Three Ships from my hotel for good coffee, service was awesome chose a hot Latte and and egg biscuit " The World Famous Becky" my daughter is Rebecca so I chose that one.. Beautiful design in the latte! Almond milk frothed very well. Sandwich was just the right size, tasty, yummy Vermont cheddar with the biscuit tasted homemade not sure if it is! Hung out at the counter personable staff! Highly recommend you stop by!

This is such a cool place in the heart of downtown Norfolk! They have merchandise for sale, including a pour over gadget. I got one of their Valentine's specials with Maraschino cherry cappuccino . It was really smooth. I also tried their oatmeal cream pie, and a vegan gluten-free muffin. The service was stellar. The barista took the time to answer my questions. I'll be back as they have so many options to try, especially their breakfast burrito.

Don't get the pourover, weak and underextracted. Cappuccino was very good. Got the ham egg and cheese biscuit and the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuits were soft, a little flaky and buttery. A good portion of ham, would happily get the ham one again. The sausage was very thin and overpowered by the thick amount of egg, still very tasty. The biscuits were the stars. The atmosphere is pretty chill.

Had a great experience at Three Ships in Norfolk. Vibes were immaculate. Kevin, one of the baristas, had excellent customer service. I told him I wanted something with matcha in it and he made me a drink that rocked my world. 10/10, would recommend, would come again.

Beautiful location on Granby St. for a modern coffee house! I love the artwork inside. It reminded me of Loki and Miss Time. lol. I made it in time to try their holiday menu before they ended it. So I got to try their gingerbread latte and egg nog latte. The egg nog is pre-maid with milk so if you have dairy-intolerance, then don't get it (like me). But I did order that for my brother who really enjoyed it! I liked my gingerbread latte but felt like I didn't get much hints of gingerbread. I think what really sticks out to me is that they make their treats from scratch and they are ones that we know we'll like pop-tarts and an oatmeal cookie sandwich! I love the way they present their iced lattes. From their brand's label to the vintage black and white straw... it's a vibe. My daughter got a chocolate chip cookie. It was huge and tasty. She enjoyed it so much that I didn't even get to try it. They were busy when I went therefore, I waited about 10 minutes for our drinks. I wish the service was a little faster but what can you do when it's a busy day?! There is modern-like seating by the window. But not plentiful. Most seats were taken when I was there. I have been talking up this cafe to my family so I definitely recommend it to those who end up reading this review! Enjoy!

Had a meeting at The Assembly next door and stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich.Got a vanilla latte and The S.E.C. I’m not a big coffee drinker and I thought the latte was great. Great flavor and just sweet enough where I could still enjoy the flavor of the coffee. The biscuit was incredibly fresh and soft, sausage was good, plenty of cheese and a light fluffy egg.
