The smoothies used to be great but the quality has been declining unfortunately. I just bought a Blueberry Bliss. It tastes like ice water & something else odd. The fruit doesn’t taste the freshest either. First time ever having a distasteful experience. Waste of money and a drive it’s going in the trash. ?

I’m leaving a 1 star permanently for tropical smoothie. They charge twice as much as what the smoothie is worth. And then they create a tipping system when you pay that makes you feel forced to tip on an already overpriced smoothie. And if you don’t tip. The workers never prepare yours the way they prepare it if it’s a tipped buy. Just absolutely lame. If they wanted their employees to make more they should pay them more. My family stopped going to tropical smoothie 1 year ago and we won’t be going back ever as long as that is in place. I’ll make a smoothie at my house not pay double what’s it’s worth and tip for it like It’s even worth that when it’s not.

Don't believe OLD reviews. This location has made HUGE changes. Very clean, staff extremely friendly and welcoming, and fast service. I'm thoroughly pleased!

This is my go-to location for satiating my Watermelon Mojito smoothie habit:.. and it IS habit-forming. I always add the energizer and it gives me a much needed boost. I feel more hydrated. I feel 100% better. My only wish is that they served this flavor year-round bc it is DELICIOUS and REFRESHING. (My husband mocks me bc every time I take my first sip, those words come out)Service here is wonderful! When you order pickup, just go to the left side of the counter and they will retrieve it from their fridge. No sitting out on the counter melting or getting picked off from someone else!

Fairly adequate service and the smoothies taste fine. It’s a shame how much a simple smoothie has gone up in price nowadays, but it is what it is. This location always prompts you to leave a tip with the credit card machine, which is a bit cumbersome because I’m probably not going to leave a tip when my smoothie already cost me $8 after tax. In any case, nothing too particular to write home about.

The WORST LOCATION EVER:(Customer service blows :( total thumbs down! Bad energy:( rude, uninviting, lazy, NOT helpful, the Cafe atmosphere was HORRIBLE to go along with it!! Sweet potato side was 3 tiny soggy yet burnt to the crisp black & crusty--MAJOR disappointment to say the LEAST:(

Less than 2 hours ago at the time of this writing (approximately around 1122 am eastern standard timezone) I ordered a Super Sunrise Sunset Smoothie and a Cali Breakfast flatbread sandwich from this military highway location of Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Norfolk Virginia. The employee processing my order was polite and the two other employees who gave me my smoothie and breakfast sandwich food were also cordial. I also liked the accomodation given for one of my food requests that was received in a friendly manner and processed in a reasonable timeframe (I requested to have the pesto condiment instead of mayo for my Cali breakfast flatbread sandwich).
