The staff at this location is top tier!!! We are staying nearby and have visited twice—both with the same high quality service and friendly crew. We accidentally left our to go box on the table and one of the servers ran to our car to hand it to us. Best Waffle House I’ve been to in a long time!!!

Yes the moment I came in things looked unclean. Then it took someone to serve me about 5 to 8 min. In that time I sat I decided against eggs and bacon cause I seen a female cook says she is a rock star cook. But why would a rock star cook not change gloves after handling raw meat. I saw her place bacon on the grill without changing gloves she continued to cook eggs then with the same gloves she just used to place bacon on the grill she took already cooked bacon and pushed a piece of the cooked bacon in the Togo container so it would fit.When I told my server I was turned against getting meat and eggs that the cook hasn't changed her gloves he Kindly called out for the cooks to change their gloves. This female cook got a huge attitude saying if someone got something to say say it and then said why don't you come back here and do it yourself.
This particular location was pretty fast and efficiently was on point. Great customer service and the food taste great!!!!!

Wafflehouse has it's own atmosphere. The food was good and quickly served. Great value for the price.Kid-friendliness: While we didn't have kids with us I saw the waitress being very friendly with a kid
On 1/5/24 @10:30AM (I found the receipt &forgot to post my review) My parents& I wanted brkfst before my parents went to ORF airport for their 50th anniversary cruise. Our pleasant & happy male ???waiter was so excited for them & played “It’s Our Anniversary” in the restaurant. The female cook ???is the only one (out of All U.S. locations I’ve been to) that uses eggs &Milk (not water) to make batter. It was the fluffiest & moist waffle ever! My steak & egg omelet was made with ❤️. We definitely are coming back. ?Great food & Awesome staff that goes above & beyond!

Arrived from out of town. Went to get food at about 9:30. We were then told that the dining area was closed, which was FINE we decided to order to go, AND THEN WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS NO COOK. there is definitely something wrong..
