I gave the restaurant another visit to see if things improved, and they did. I had the veg burger with french fries, and my husband had the chicken salad, and we both shared a salad, and all came out fresh and delicious.

Zinnia is a fresh clean cafe space inside the Chrysler Museum (which is a free amazing museum btw). The menu here is not extensive, but solid consistent options for lunch or grab and go when at the museum or in the area. Here is what I personally like: there are gluten free options, a kids menu, it's very clean and the staff is attentive and kind. The soup rotates and you can get something from their grab n go, order take out or sit inside/outside. It can get super busy when there is an event or lecture so be mindful of that. There are dedicated bathrooms so you don't need to wander in the museum. My favorite is the chicken salad, my friend loves the duck grilled cheese and pickles!

I love that they have updated the restaurant in the Chrysler Museum to Zinnia! It’s convenient, has indoor and outdoor seating and is very modern. I appreciated the clean bathrooms as well! The staff is always nice and it’s a great place to have lunch or just have a coffee. We stopped in to have lunch while we were seeing the Paul McCartney exhibit. And then continued to see the new painting collection upstairs. They do have seasonal menus so it could change what is available. The portions are large ( I took home half my burger ) and well put together. My burger was cooked perfectly and how I wanted it. My only complaint would be having to sit too close to strangers because they are so busy sometimes. But that’s a good thing! Also I’m not a fan of the ranch dressing or ketchup. It was almost a hint of vinegar in the ranch and the ketchup was sweet. Can’t wait to stop by again and try something else on the menu.

Really fresh food in beautiful surroundings.

Overpriced pitiful panini that had 10 fries on the plate. There wasn't enough employees to handle the work load. I really wanted to like it.

Seems pretty limited. Nice space. Fancy prepared food. Everything was good. Nothing hot when we were there. Maybe microwaveable?

The atmosphere was nice but the food was very bland. Someone here said "try the Zinnia burger and your mind will be blown". Well I tried it and found it had very little flavor. Honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. McDonald's burgers are more enjoyable.

Was greeted by the staff as soon as we walked in with friendly smiles. I ordered the Chicken Caprese Panini. I considered it to be a good sized sandwich. The pesto was delicious, and the ingredients all tied together for a simple and tasty lunch. I shared the Coastal Cobb salad with my friends. We enjoyed the cranberry cheese that came with it and the colorful veggies that came with. The place was organized and clean. The decor is very much a minimalist designed style with neutral colors. It gives a nice modern feel. I kind of wished we ate outside because the outdoor eating area looks so beautiful surrounded by trees and foliage. I ended my meal with the Brownie Sundae with Vanilla ice cream. It was warm and big enough to share. I think this was the highlight of the whole meal.

The Chef here is Chris Young from Taste Unlimited. Order the Zinnia burger and be prepared to have your mind blown. Ground chuck/brisket/short rib with a deep fried pimento cheese patty and crispy bacon, red onion, tomato and maple burbon pickles on a brioche bun. Put this burger on your Bucket List! The staff is lovely. A perfect day out at the Chrysler Museum.

Wonderful lunch during our Chrysler Museum visit...would return for the food! Arrived just 3 minutes before they stopped serving lunch, but they happily accommodated us. Server, Stephen, was amazing and fun! Food was exceptional, loved the smoked salmon sandwich! A unexpected bonus to our day!!!
