For locals in the rural communities south of Charlottesville, simply put, Dr Ho's makes the best pizzas in central Virginia. Casual atmosphere, decent beer and wine menu, highly recommended.Vegetarian options: I'm Vegan, therefore I usually build my own 3 or 4 topping pizza on their red sauce and No Cheese. For the same cost, the easy option for vegans would be the Buddha Pizza with tofu (no Mozzarella) which is loaded with their signature toppings. It's good but the crust soon gets soggy from the load, so I build mine with toppings that won't soak through. My favorites and recommendations are kalamata olives, roasted garlic, tofu and portobello mushrooms. Delicious -Savory and Tangy???? plus excellent beer and wine selections,

The pizza at Dr Ho's is fantastic. The crust and sauce are amongst the best pizzas we've had. Every time we visit from Eastern PA, we get Dr Ho's.
Other than the gluten free pizza, great food, great ambience! GF pizza tastes like cardboard, sorry guys, I love you but multiple family members and friends agree.

We really enjoyed our meal at Dr. Ho's. Instead of getting a traditional pizza, we gave the special pie a try. It had banana peppers, sausage, and arugula with a honey drizzle. It was pretty good, but we probably would have gone with something more traditional if we were to do it again. The large pie was plenty for two of us and enough for our lunch the next day. Service was good, and the atmosphere was very lively with a lot of locals. We plan to visit again.Parking: There's a large parking lot, but it could be a bit crowded at peak times.

Stumbled upon this little gem traveling through VA. Best pizza I've had in a long time. The sauce is everything a great pizza sauce should be. Traditional Italian, hand tossed crust, fresh ingredients in generous proportions. Variety of craft brews on tap, as well as the usual bar drink fare. Cool, casual atmosphere. A delightful surprise!
