Just go ! It was amazing. Low lit dining area like any good Italian restaurant. The food some of the best I've ever had.

We had a nice late night meal at Luciano Italian Restaurant. The Calzone Puglia was hot, with a bubbly, crackely crust and stretchy cheese. It was filled with Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms and Mozarella. Themushrooms were so earthy and aromatic, you could smell them before cutting int it. The Meat Lasagna had nice crispy edges, and a fresh tomato sauce. It was filled with ground beef, ricotta and mozarella cheese. We came a little after 8PM on a Sunday and were glad they stay open until 10PM. VIDEO:

This place has free parking, which is a plus and has a semi-“romantic” ambiance (sort of a Jersey feel to it). Service is ok but the waiter struggled with taking our order. Food was ok but not something that will draw us back. No major issues, just not for me. For an appetizer we had eggplant with tomato sauce, my wife had spaghetti with meatballs, son fettuccine alla Erma, and me a white pizza. Frankly flavors were not that impressive for any of the food and my pizza crust was tough. Just not a keeper.

At Luciano, I recently dove into their "Meat Trio" pizza, and let me tell you, it's a culinary masterpiece. The crust strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, providing an ideal base for the explosion of flavors to come. The trio of meats was a savory delight in every bite, and I decided to amp it up a notch by adding mushrooms, which added a delightful earthiness to the mix. The cheese, a gooey perfection, brought everything together seamlessly. Luciano's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary finesse truly shines through in this pizza, making it a must-try for anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying dining experience.

Literally the best Pizza I have had in a LONG time (since new york). the desserts are from Italy and the pasta is incredible too (and I'm super picky). we find ourselves eating here once a week.

I’ve been a fan for decades. What happened to the pizza? For years the pizza was the closest to NY style in the area, but someone changed the recipe!! It’s bland. It doesn’t even look the same. Please go back to the old recipe! Ugh!!

Chef must be on vacation everything was cold. We ordered a steak and cheese and egg plant sandwich and everything was cold with way too much breading. We also ordered lasagna and even that tasted really odd and it was also like warm. Service was good and the ambiance was even nicer with the plants hanging from the ceiling but the food was terrible.

We are originally from NY and are very picky about pizza. The pizza at Luciano’s was the best we have ever had - including from NY. Homemade dough, with perfect consistency, excellent seasoning and sauce, The other food was delicious, too - homemade meat ravioli, gnocchi special with sun dried tomatoes, eggplant parm, and fettuccini a la Erma. The wait staff was excellent - very attentive and helpful. The kids enjoyed tartufo for dessert. We all loved the food!

Luciano's no more!Extremely disappointed, not having been to this restaurant in a long time to find out it was sold.I ordered a pizza to go which I rarely do and it was the worst pizza I've had from Luciano's since I began going Back in 1970 at their Tysons Corner location which was the first. The pizza had almost an inch of cheese on it without ordering extra cheese and was completely undercooked and doughy. When I called to tell them the response was I'm sorry, instead of would you like us to cook you a new one which is why I gave two stars for service because she was nice when I went in. It goes to show you that you can have the right ingredients but if you don't know how to make a pizza you don't know how to make a pizza. I believe that was the last location and they should change the name of it because that pizza is nowhere near what it used to be. What a shame.

I am guessing on this review. I have been obsessed with Luciano’s carbonara after watching Alex’s videos. I started with making my own Albion e olio and then cacio e Pepe. I have emailed Luciano about getting some of his dried pasta so I can try my own carbonara. My friend is in Rome the next week and I asked him to go there and try the carbonara and I will pay for his meal if he can bring back some of the dried pasta. So Luciano, if you see this, please take care of an American named Derek and take a photo and sell him some pasta for me to try back in the US. And find a way to ship your pasta as well.
