My wife and I came out this past Thursday and the service was the best I’ve had in quite a long time. Not that the dogwood has bad service but other restaurants we’ve been to we have not had the best.

I've been coming to the dogwood since my parents brought me as a child 15 years ago. I loved it then, and love it now. Whenever I go back to my home town I always come here. It's all good at the Dogwood:)

The staff was amazing. My Dr. Pepper never got below halfway and I drank about 8 of them. Clean and tidy. The food left a little to be desired but it was a pleasant experience

We drove in from Midlothian for a very enjoyable Saturday night dinner with friends. I had the Steak Manchester special, which was the best dish I have had in a long time: perfectly seasoned sirloin topped with grilled shrimp, kalamata olives, leeks, capers, grape tomatoes, asparagus and feta cheese crumbles. Great combo of ingredients that complemented but did not overwhelm the beef. My wife said her French dip sandwich was the best she ever had, but her cheese fries arrived cold. Our friends' chicken fajitas, which they love and order regularly, also were delivered without the usual sizzle. Cheesecake and brownie sundae desserts were very good. Other than the lack of heat on a couple of items, the only thing I would knock The Dogwood for is the cheap quality of their flatware. I realize this is a casual spot, but food as stellar as The Dogwood's deserves something more substantial than what feels like utensils from a bin at the dollar store (or, as my spouse said, an elementary school cafeteria). Overall, I love the place and look forward to returning.

The food is good. I've ordered from here many times during the last year n never had any problems n that's pretty hard to do every time. Went in for lunch today n I can't recommend that but again, the food was good. No one really cares if inside customers are there or not. It was my first time inside a restaurant since last year so I was really looking forward to it. Waste of time. I used to be a server, so I always tip at least something near 20% regardless of the level of service but this was so over the top I left zero tip for the first time ever in 40 years.

Great burger! So glad to be getting out again. Haven't been to the Dogwood in a long time. Stopped in tonight and had a Works Burger. Fresh! Hot! Delicious! The menu offers a wide variety for all ages and tastes. Service was very friendly and attentive. The owner is a great guy who does a lot for the community without fanfare. So glad to see this establishment carrying on. Really missed it.

Our waitress was very friendly and prompt, however there was another waitress who was talking so overly loud to the point of yelling that is was very annoying. To the point I was ready to leave, the food was ok but was on the pricey side. There was no kids menu and they do not use separate fryers for Shrimp which ment I couldn't order what I wanted due to cross contamination for a shrimp allergy. Disappointed in seeing how the owner responds to customers thru Google with a classic response of " instead of blasting thru google" really if you've been in business so long maybe try to be nicer with customer reviews.
