The Baked beans tasted "sour" not enough savory or flavor so sent this back and the coleslaw had no flavor or salt. I hope the Chef is tasting the food? The rub on the ribs is sweet and should have a little more "kick" and be more savory and more tender, although, realize that everyone's taste is different. I wish they could add baked potatoes and back sweet potatoes to the menu. I'd go back but will try the pulled pork next time. Green beans are good!

This BBQ place was phenomenal! And its pretty much in the middle of nowhere sadly!1st - The owner has done a great job making the restaurant and bar 2 completely seperate areas in his establishment. There are pool tables, darts boards, a pinball machine, tabletop mini arcade machine...AND they play Texas Holdem at least one night a week here.2nd - The owner has collected a very nice hard to find bourbon collection. There were at least 12 bottles of topshelf caramel hued deliciousness to soak my tastebuds! As well as all the other usual suspects you might want to drink. The pours were nicely priced so they can be enjoyed and much appreciated! (Ive never seen High Wests Midwinter Nights Dram on a shelf in a bar and there it was waiting for me!)3rd - The owner has hired a staff of some damn good people that were perfectly accommodating and pleasant to spend an evening hanging out on their bar counter.4th - The owner seems like a hell of a guy. Friendly and personable. Willing to take time out to proudly chat about his food and bourbon. Its nice to go to restaurant where the owner cares about everything he puts out and the people who chose his place to visit! The food was great, the prices were great, the staff was great, the bourbon collection was a giant surprise and was perfect. This place gets a TRUE 5 STAR RATING all the way around!Thank you guys for a great evening and I hope to be back soon!

We mostly get seated at the bar. We aways have interaction with the bar tender and others. Food is always fresh and good. I can recommend it.

For health/mobility reasons, I only do carry-out, so naturally what comes to me in a box is what tells the tale. I have enjoyed the pulled pork and the sides. Especially the fried green tomatoes. What a treat for this aging Southern woman. Tonight, I was craving a burger, and you did not disappoint. Good, juicy beef, treated with the respect it deserves. The bacon is cooked with tender loving care, not chewy and not too crisp. Mushrooms, good choice, and fresh, not canned. A slice of (again) fried green tomato offers a healthy respect for Southern cuisine. My only suggestion is, maybe offer a choice of bread. I'd pay an extra dollar or two for an English muffin or a sour dough roll. Such a delicious piece of beef deserves respectful bread.

We accidentally found this wonderful BBQ joint by trying to go to Miche Tavern on a Tuesday (they're closed on Tuesdays). So a detour took us here for an early lunch. We were not disappointed! The variety platter gave a good feel of what they offered. With enough for two adults and priced right, it was indeed a great value!Service between a couple of waitresses was excellent. The food was delicious, prepared well and we ended the meal with warm Grandma's cookies that were certainly homemade ❤️Thank you for the wonderful lunch y'all, we'll be back!

Didn't care for anything I brought, I didn't like the ribs fatty, brisket fatty, and the smoked wings were rubbery. Wouldn't recommend or come back.

Excellent barbecue, generous portions, and the variety of sauces lets you branch out from the basics of the well-executed proteins. Super nice people, flexible and kind. Well worth a visit.
