Good food for sure , service leaves much to be desired. Pls update your hours . The past 3 times I came at 12/2 and even 3pm on different days of the week they were just randomly closed with the “open” sign lit up. Makes no sense to me . Think this was my last time at this place.

The food was delicious. Service was great. We only brought debit & credit cards & the cash register only gave us the option to give up to a 30% tip. We tipped that amount but next time we will bring cash to tip more because the food & service are definitely worth more. It was busy but we still got our amazing food quickly. I can understand why there was a line almost out the door when we left. It's that busy because it's just that good. This place is a gem!

I so badly wanted to rate this place higher. But didn't have half of the menu when we ordered including mixed drinks. The waffles where delicious though. I had their version of Frutty Pepples waffles they were great.

We had been wanting to visit for some time and took the drive today. We had chicken wings, chicken tenders, an original and a cinnamon roll waffle plus a side of fries. Everything was delicious. We drove 45 minutes just to eat here and we'd do it again.

OMG this food was absolutely delicious. I ordered cinnamon toast crunch waffles. My eyes rolled in the back of my head. The jumbo wing I got were Tai chilli which were Amazing.

Love to try new things and support local. Truly wish we could have tried this place. Walked in a little after 1. They were “sold out” of staple items that should never be out at a soul food restaurant that only opened an hour earlier. We settled for tenders crab fries and a waffle. 1 hour into our wait 3 take out orders emerged from the kitchen. 1 family walked out and no dine in orders surfaced. We were still excited to try but were growing weary. 2 hours into our wait we gave up. Asked to pay for our drinks and leave and couldn’t even get assistance with that. Terrible experience.

The food tasted delicious and I would have given them more stars but my husband ordered 5 jumbo wings and a waffle for us to share and when we opened up our food we were shorted 3 wings. $16 for two wings and a small waffle is a bit exorbitant!I will give them another chance though and will check my order before I drive all the way back to Crater Rd.
