People in Virginia do not know what real Mexican food is. I've tried several restaurants. All the same.

The tacos were excellent. The service was very good and the facilities very clean.I would only suggest that the children's menu in the taco option had tacos with a normal tortilla.Very good family place

Sadly, the food has changed, and my favorite dish (tacos al pastor) no longer contains well marinated steak and pineapple chunks. It is now much more plain with a side of al pastor sauce. So disappointed.

Online prices shows one thing and when you get there it's something different almost double the price . They do not honor the online prices and will cancel your order if you don't want the items not honored even if you have other items. The cashier (female) stated I didn't have money because I spoke on the fact of the prices being different therefore she cancelled my order. Also being that I didn't want the items that weren't honored my margarita that came out later had zero alcohol coinsidentally due to their negligence that put money over customer service, I was a loyal customer here since they have opened, I will not longer give them my service.
This is by far the best location for el cap and the staff are always awesome.Always get welcomed in like family!!!

This was my first experience coming to the El Caporal, and it was DELICIOUS. My wife got the Pollo Sammy which was cooked to her liking. I got the Burrito Chipotle. The flavor was amazing. The menu stated it was "hot" but it wasn't hot to me. I love spicy. The cheese dip was great with the chips and Ranchero and salsa. Now for dessert we got Churros to go, My wife hasnt found any authentic Churros, until now. They were crispy on the outside, nice and chewy on the inside with the right amount of cinnamon sugar dusted on top. The wait staff was very friendly and fast. I'll definitely go back here. RECOMMENDED!!!
