Authentic and delicious southern Italian food (the owners are from Italy!). Extensive, however, not overwhelming menu. Great atmosphere and even a large patio for nice days to eat al- fresco! The service was excellent...definitely a must try for anyone planning a visit to historic Petersburg - even if it is to sample this wonderful gem of a place! Bravi ?? ?? ??

Incredible! From Italian wedding soup to a cannoli, Maria’s brings me back to studying abroad and trips to Florence, Rome, and Livorno! 10/10 for everything! Ask for Brent or Maria ;)

The food was amazing as always. However I have come here a lot and today at 330 the waitress was horrible and no they weren’t busy they had one other couple that’s it! She basically ignored us the whole time very sad cause I loved this place up until today!
Celebrated my father's birthday in a private room with a party of 40. First time customers. Service was amazing. Very attentive. Never needed or wanted for anything. Food was amazing and very flavorful. Owners even came by at the end of our stay to thank us. If you are looking for authentic Italian, I highly recommend. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance just right. Ask for Monica or Maria. Maria's will not disappoint.

Place is quite a venue to have in Petersburg! Food was delicious, only Italian restaurant I have been to with sicilian Spaghetti so pleasantly surprised! The service needs a bit of help though it seems. Went on Saturday evening and it was barely busy. There were two large parties and some sporadic smaller parties. Place still looked empty. Most of these parties were waiting on checks yet it took someone almost 10 mins to come to our table. Seems like communication might be the issue as several people came over at different times asking if we had been helped but still we waited. Probably will be back, they have quite the menu but hopefully service will be better.

This restaurant is a true gem in Petersburg. I ordered bacon scallops as appetizer and butternut squash ravioli as entree on their seasonal menu. 10 out of 10. I would definitely come back when I have the chance.
