I ordered the Prime Rib special. There was no flavor or seasoning to it. The steak itself looked unappetizing. I had two bites of the steak and ate the sides. I spoke with manager who insisted that they would not take it off my bill. I agreed to pay the two sides but I shouldn’t have to pay for something I didn’t eat. The manager would not bend. Beware, don’t order the prime rib special and if you don’t like something make sure you order something that will hopefully taste better than the prime rib. On a positive note, the waitresses were wonderful!

I have eaten at Fish & Slips twice now. A friend at work recommended this place and I'm glad he did. I've tried the Blackened Tuna dinner and the Flounder Tacos. Both were delicious! The ambience of the restaurant is what you would hope for in a good seafood restaurant; located on the water with beautiful views of the harbor/boats, wood paneling and decor that gives you the feel of being in a seaside fishing community, not a snooty upscale restaurant. I can't wait to return and try their fish and chips!

My niece and her husband enjoyed the food. We ordered to go. Getting to place the order was not the best experience. Because we have been here several times before we went to the end of the bar. We were told by the gentleman behind the bar to wait at a table, and someone would be with us. Prior to telling us that he didn't ask if we were ordering to go or anything else. We sat and waited for service for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once we let the waitstaff know we were ordering to go, she told us to go to the end of the bar. I explained that we did that in the beginning and was told to wait at a table. We waited another 15 to 20 minutes to get the order. Needless to say, I wasn't happy.

Asked to speak to manager as waiter told us when we were seated waiting on drinks that the kitchen was down. Then we had to order raw food. We wanted oyster rock. But they said we can only have raw. So we did. As soon as the food arrives she say says hey the kitchen is back up. So I naturally ask for a manager. She came 15 min later and said hey nothing I can do!! I just said ok bc I expect to pay for anything I order but for a place to automatically add 18%tip I would think that is under the assumption that SERVICE WILL BE PARAMOUNT!!! And if they would have done right I would have just tipped the discount as I always do or pay someone else’s bill.SO SADDENED I REALLY USED TO LIKE THAT PLACE!Hate to say it but I fell like the young lady’s went about it as if I were a black guy just trying to get something free.
