We wanted a quick snack before we hit the road. There was no line at Rally's and we quickly saw why. While the staff were friendly enough, the 5 minute wait they told me turned into 10 minutes.

This place is ok. The chicken is "reasonable", the sauce is not the greatest tho. I think the fries are the ones from Walmart, they taste and feel the same. I love small businesses ,and I want every business to excel but, the service was ight. The guy seems genuin enough. Over all it was an "ok" experience, but we will not be going here again.

Let me start off by saying I wanted to love this place.. I love chicken strips! But boy was I disappointed.. the Chicken strips are seasoned but a weird texture that made them inedible to me. They were kinda burnt tasting But weren't burnt..the Cole slaw sucks.. its bagged pre shredded cabbage with only mayo mixed in.. no other flavor besides mayo n cabbage..the worst I've ever had..?? Toast is dry, greasy, n flavorless at the same time.. fries areehhh not great.. smh none of it is. That's all they have. No other sides or options.. the homemade ranch was good tho lol.. but I'd rather get strips & wedges from Walmart deli before wasting my time at this place!

Unprofessional cashier, kept laughing and talking to someone else the rudely saying ",is that it"? Food is decent but the Owner needs to have the workers trained to be at least professional. Oh the coleslaw was warm and nasty.

Always great and friendly service whenever I come here. The chicken strips are always delicious and so is the breading around them. The fries smack too! Which is why I've been here 4 times in the past two weeks. The two black ladies Cheri and I forgot the other lady's name, they're always professional and very sweet. They never forget my napkins, sauce or anything else. All fast food employees should be like them.

Ordered through Grubhub. Driver forgot my drink. Grubhub credited me. The chicken wasn't all that and the fries were cold. Only thing interesting was the sauce but I've had better tasting chicken tenders from a certain fast food chain.

This review is for the GO Bird location at 5105 George Washington Hwy in Portsmouth.A couple of days ago, I was curious to try out this place as I love supporting locals, as they could surely use more money & support more so than big, corporate chained restaurants & stores in which they will always make more money.I went to the walk-up window to order, & there were two guys working inside of there. One of them kept socializing with people inside of one vehicle over through the drive-thru window while I was trying to get his attention so that he could take my order. You have customers waiting, especially at the Drive-Thru! You don't have time to be socializing!I've waited for about 5 minutes before he had done so. Then afterwards, I waited for like between 10 & 15 MINUTES just for my food to arrive! It was so embarrassing when a couple of relatives of mine were wondering what was happening.As for the food? The chicken sandwich combo along with a couple of tenders that I've ordered tasted average at best. The tender portion sizes were small as well for the high prices that they had! It was the GO Bird Sauce that had saved them. Fries were good, though.All in all, I received terrible customer service, & average food that wasn't worth the money or the long wait. I'm sticking to either Zaxby's, Bojangles or Popeyes.
Easily some of the best tasting chicken tenders I have ever had in my life!!! Prices are good also! This place is easy to miss because it's so small but it is a good spot nestled in portsmouth!

My boyfriend normally goes all the time. We always joke it's the real life good burger of chicken . We went around 9 on July 5th and the man working the window was doing an amazing job. He was a kind young man who was working hard as usual. Everytime we see this man working, the food is amazing too! Closest thing to Raising Kaines we have in VA (some would say it's better!)

Been here twice now, takes a little time to get your food, but what I got was hot, fresh and delicious. My wife love this place and the go bird sauce is great.

They have changed the recipe and portion sizes. If I wanted an unseasoned chicken breast cut into 3 small strips I would go to Kroger.
