Was sooo ? good.... We came back the second night!!Stayed in town over the weekend...many options for dinner. Choose this location the first night...(Prime rib/shrimp). Got salad, wine, calamari...too. WOW!! SO GOOD! WE CAME BACK THE NEXT NIGHT! Second night - Seafood platter - blackened - perfection!I highly recommend it.

The pricing had us wanting to try one of everything and we just about did!Our server Angie was amazing! Though she was busy, she made sure to let us know we had her attention as well. She even made sure to rush a grilled chicken breast for our service dog and brought her a bowl of water to top it off without being asked.
The food was not what I was expecting from a seafood place. The green beans had good flavor. The bushier puppies were good. And the stiff mushrooms were good. But the scallops in strawberry sauce absolutely not ha! The fried catfish taste like it was dipped in chicken batter. The fries weren’t good at all. It smelled like it was cooked in old grease. Presentation wasn’t good.

I'm coming back tomorrow for dinner! The food, service, ambience and friendly locals made me feel like I was home. These places just don't exist anymore.The early bird special was mind blowing as for the amount of food for the price.I had the fried flounder, broccoli and baked potato. Everything was perfect. The banana Cheesecake was unbelievably good!

This place is like finding a hidden treasure that you want to share with everyone but at the same time, it’s so wonderful that you almost want to just keep this gem to yourself.Such a wonderful experience.The food is exceptional! I had the Rotisserie Chicken off the “Early Bird” menu.The rice that it’s served with is very tasty, will order again!!Also want to add, I tried some of the salmon as well & loved it. They serve warm hushpuppies with plenty of butter while waiting on your meals.For dessert I had the cheesecake with raspberry drizzle, so good. All the cheesecake is homemade there & definitely worth trying!

Decently priced but that's about the extent of it. When we were sat by the waitress I went to the head. My wife sat by herself waiting. The waitress was very unpleasant to my wife. When I got to the table the lady realized my wife wasn't alone and was pleasant the remainder of the time. The food isn't the greatest and the atmosphere is very dated. I don't typically leave negative reviews in lieu of a neutral view so that others can create their own opinion. I wouldn't eat their ever again if I had the choice.

They do an assortment of dishes (not just seafood) that are all very tasty and won’t hurt your wallet. I’ve been coming by for Lunch and Dinner for a while now and always enjoy my experience there! Delicious food and very reasonable prices. It has that old school home town atmosphere. Just recently found out about it and I'm in that area often. Will definitely be going back.

Stumbled across this place while passing through Portsmouth, and was pleasantly surprised.Staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We were hankering for seafood and this fit the bill perfectly! To too it off, prices were much lower than expected for the quality of the food and service, so it's an excellent deal.Definitely worth coming back to again!

Just awesome food at beyond reasonable prices! I mean truly outstanding food!!!!!! Hush puppies to die for! I was shocked!!! Portsmouth????? Ya know? I would go again! Collards you wouldn't believe. Sooooo good! Perfectly cooked!GO! You will not be disappointed!
Finally, a place with reasonably priced, delicious food that includes seafood. The crab cakes and puffs were loaded with crab. Service was also outstanding . Will definitely make a trip through the tunnel to come back.One word of caution to my fellow tree nut allergists, be sure to ask on any desserts and not just assume like I did (walnuts in the brownie sundae nearly took me down).Kid-friendliness: Very reasonablly priced kids meals and my child said the chicken was delicious!
