A hot mess. The decore, customer service, and food was a joke. Cashier had a attitude and a wrangler shirt on. Everything in the back looked dirty. The glass at the front that you order thur was disgusting. It was cold as hell in there as I waited for almost a hour for 2 pieces of fish and fries and a order of wings. I will not be going back to that dump and I suggest y'all not waste y'all money either.

The food was nothing short of AMAZING!! ? We had an order of turkey wings and an order of shrimp/grits, both were great. I will not a spend a dime at any other “soul food” place in the 757. I’m definitely a loyal custom now. It’s low key so if you’re speeding you’ll pass it up. You won’t be disappointed with the food here. If you want real soul food with big portions , at a decent price this is the place ☺️

I don’t normally write reviews but the food was so good it made me upset this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars so I had to leave one because EVERYTHING was so good down to the lemonade. I haven’t had food this good in a while. We ordered a turkey wing dinner with collard greens yams and Mac and cheese, turkey wings fell right off the bone collards greens were tender a full of flavor, also ordered the chicken shrimp and sausage Cajun pasta it was bomb, salmon egg rolls and the collard green egg rolls was so good, banana pudding cheese cake was also good. Good is really an understatement for this place I live 30 minutes away and will make that drive every week from today on out. IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD STOP HERE MUST TRY!!!

OMG! Don't sleep on this one! GO TODAY! The food was Amazing! It doesn't look like much but I live an hour away and would drive back! We ordered the Collard Green Eggrolls. They were full of flavor, crispy, and served with yummy ramoulade. Fried Fish and Grits. The Fish was not over cooked, crispy and not greasy, the grits were cheesy, spiced, and well seasoned. A Stuffed Baked Potato all the way w/ Shrimp, Chicken, and Sausage. The potato was super stuffed and covered with the best gravy! The only down side was the tail was left on the Shrimp and you couldn't see it with all the gravy. But, I'm really being picky! And, Liver and gravy. It was cooked to perfection! Not like some places that cook it like shoe leather! It was tender and delicious! The 2 sides were Mac & Cheese and Rice & Gravy. The Mac & Cheese was sooooo good, it just melted in your mouth! I'm so sorry but the rice was kind of an after thought with no flavor or salt. Just don't get that one! BUT GET EVERYTHING ELSE! There's no real dining room, just 2 hi tops and a couple of park benches. We stayed and ate at one of the tables. The staff was lovely. I highly recommend!

Nothing we tried tasted bad!!! Everything was good and we tried one of every dish! They were out of yams but I bet they’re amazing bc I have no idea how they got all that flavor in the veggies!! Seriously unexpected pleasure from this mom and pop shop!! Worth every penny!!!

The food was absolutely horrible! I have never tasted soul food so nasty in my life! The Mac n cheese was nasty so was the candied yams. The chicken was not good despite it being freshly made. I will not waste another brown penny.
