The food was just ok. We ordered egg rolls that were supposed to have shrimp in them and they did not. The owners were very kind.

***Please give a like ??, if you find this review helpful***.. This place is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall joint. Just meaning the location and the overall atmosphere gives that vibe. I didn't find anything that would stand out here enough to say that this place is definitely worth experiencing . I thought everything was just ok ??♂️. The parking, the service, the atmosphere, the food, down to the owner and workers were all just ok. Usually places like this excel at something, usually the food is to die for or the staff is very nice. For me, the staff did not engage at all except to take my order and take my money. This is fine but when you see the engagement with certain customers and not others, it sends a red flag. Especially if I'm asking questions and interested in your culture. So for me, everything was just ok and experiencing this place once was enough for me.Parking: Parking is very limited and right off a busy street.

I decided to try this place based on reviews and was extremely disappointed. Not sure if it would have made a difference if I dined in instead of taking food out, but the broth for their pho lacked flavor. There was no richness to the broth. I'm a local and have tried a few pho spots and this definitely was not great at all. The prep time was quick and customer service was good but the food I ordered was just lacking.
Been coming here since I was a toddler with my parents growing up in Portsmouth. Now I’m in college and still coming here for the food. BEST pho spot in the 757, nobody can tell me otherwise. The food, the service, TOP TIER!!

Pho on point- small bowl loaded with the collagen broth I needed after a migraine attack this week. Weather-32degrees on Mon Sat 65 degrees. The owners are from Arlington, Va so they definitely knew the Vietnamese community & spots there. I am a fan.

Highly recommend this place for their Pho with delicious broth. It is easy to feel that Pho is their specialty as they offer different Pho varieties. I have to say it is the best Pho broth I have tried in Hampton Roads. The staffs are friendly. The price is reasonable. The atmosphere is ok, nothing to complain. A simple place to have good foods.Vegetarian options: Some reasonable vegetarian options. Will try their vegetarian Pho next time.

My first Pho restaurant in Portsmouth, VA. It was a disappointment. The first taste for me is the "naked broth," without adding any side sauces or spices; sad to say it was not flavorful or does not even take me back home to memory lane. The Vietnamese ice coffee was mainly bitter the most even if there was mixed of condensed milk & sugar. I also found some piece of plastic that came out of the drink when I was sipping; I did not finish the coffee. Showed it to the cashier and he was kind to not charge me even if I insisted to pay. The location is convenient for me to go to but I definitely won't be returning and will be exploring to find a better Pho restaurant while I'm here.
