“I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Yessenia!! I work late and have stopped by a few times this week to grab something quick after a long day. Even in the POURING RAIN, Yessenia is there with a smile on her face that makes me feel like she happy to help me, instead of the bothersome looks I’ve become accustomed to with other drive through professionals. It really makes a difference, and I hope it doesn’t go unnoticed!!“

“Since I recently discovered Knossos, I have been back twice. This small restaurant is tucked into an Eldon strip mall and would be easy to overlook. When I called in my order, I as impressed with the courtesy and ease of the process. The man took my order, read it back, gave me the price and told me when I could pick it up. When I arrived, the food was ready, and the counterman checked the order to make sure nothing was missing (what a concept). The food was fresh well prepared and very good. And it was reasonably priced. The gyro, falafel, and salads were all good and the portions generous, and they do not skimp on hummus or tatsiki. There are a wide variety of appetizers and menu items, all I tried were good and I especially recommend the Greek fries, which are seasoned and served with feta cheese. Knossos also makes a surprisingly good burger, single or double. If you are looking for a quick alternative to your takeout routine, I highly recommend Knossos for good, reasonably priced, fresh food. And the staff is friendly, efficient, fast and they definitely take pride in their food and want to make sure the customers enjoy your meal.“

“This locally owned burger joint is fantastic. Not only are the burgers, fries, and shakes delicious but they are also able to serve beer which is a plus after a work day!The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating.I am a huge fan of small and/or local businesses and if that's something that is important to you too then you'll be delighted to see that Social Burger is actively involved in the local community. From blood drives to donating food they are serving their community in more ways than one.My partner is also vegan and they had a vegetarian friendly burger and a separate vegan friendly burger which is a huge plus!Vegetarian options: There is a black bean burger as well as an impossible burger option.Plenty of vegan and vegetarian friendly toppings and a chimichurri sauce.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“It's a nice spot. Me and one of my friends stopped by for lunch. The sandwiches tasted better than average, but no real flair to the food presentation.I think a touch of carrot straws and maybe a apple wedge for color and a complimentary taste factor would have made it even better.“

“The staff was not just nice, they were charming. Happy to see bikers. Happy to be there. Mix of locals and bikers when we were there. Great breakfast sandwiches. Don't forget to get a sub to go for lunch. So good. Bike parking outside and bathrooms outside. I'll stop here every time I ride past.“

“I'm writing this review after trying Big Buns Vienna branch, and the newest location in Fairfax (which still doesn't have a yelp entry at the time of writing this review). I tried the Classic burger, the Hot and Hefe, and the Shirlington Hot Nashville chicken sandwich.This is not your typical run-of-the-mill fast food burger joint. For the beef burgers, this place makes them exclusively from angus beef which makes for a totally elevated burger experience. I ordered mine medium and they were SO juicy and flavorful.The Nashville hot chicken sandwich (Shirlington) caught me by complete surprise. I didn't expect a burger place to sell such flavorful and truly hot chicken sandwich. It's not for the faint hearted, though. Order your hot sauce on the side and add it to taste if you cant take the heat. But don't sleep on this one. It tastes way better than at specialized hot chicken restaurants.I took away one star because the lower part of the bun gets very soggy and starts to disintegrate by the time you reach home. I would choose dine-in over takeaway for that reason. I hope they work on sourcing better quality buns or figure out a way for their buns not to get too soggy and ruin the nearly-perfect burger experience. Also, their fries portions are small compared to the price.Nevertheless, I'm definitely coming back for more flavorful burgers and hot chicken!“

“Step back and remember who much fun a really good burger was at this place. The really good meat, the toppings, those fries.... now go get one. Seriously, if you have never tried the place, you must. Its a bit different that the usual burger joint. This place has a line you go to place what size burger and what other foods, drink... then you go and fill your soda cup, and sit at a table. I leave hubby behind to get the food when its up, as its made fresh right when you order. Now is the fun part, dressing your burger at the bar. You put on lettuce, tomato, pickles.... its a lot more than just katsup and mustard.... now sit back down and enjoy the juicy delicious burger. You will see families and you will see kids. It can be noisy but that is the fun too. Its like stepping into a fun time when people were just happy. Maybe because they just got the worlds most perfect burger.Parking: lots of parking in front, and behind as its in a mini mall type setting.“

“I'm so happy there's a new place like this in South Lakes! Take the previous review with a grain of salt. We had a great meal and overall great experience! The place was clean, employees were very nice, they were wearing gloves in the back, and actively cleaning the place. The chicken was crispy and super flavorful! The slaw was awesome and the sauces are super yummy, especially the yellow and orange one! The fries were crispy and delicious. Great value! Check this place out and give it a try!“

“What an amazing service, ambience, and more importantly, the most authentic Afghan food I've had in a long time! It's hard to find actual authentic Afghan food anymore, there only a handful of them and this is certainly one! I ordered the combo for 4 that included two different types of rice, 4 sides, 4 fresh pieces of bread, chicken, beef & chicken kubideh, and lamb. Everything was 100% authentic and SUPER delicious! The bread was so hot and crispy right out of the brick clay oven. It was the best part of the meal! I highly recommend this place, it's a must!“

“The Backyard Grill is awesome! I travel to the area often for work and went in last night and had dinner at the bar. I ordered a sirloin which was very tasty, but there are lots of great items on the menu so I will be going back! If you like to sit at the bar, ask for Jason - it was a busy night but I felt like he was my own personal bartender. 5 stars all around!“

“I got a falafel burger combo and I was very pleasantly surprised by how fresh and crunchy the falafel patty was, you can really tell that they 1) know how to make a falafel and 2) cook their food to order for you. The combo of falafel and burger wasnt something I had tried before but I would definitely go back just for that. The fries were great too; the quality was consistent across the board for my whole meal and everything was obviously fresh cooked. They also have a large menu of meatless options besides just salads.Vegetarian options: There are 8 different vegetarian options on the menu including a tofu dog and tofu Chicago dog. They sell beyond burgers but also have their own variants of veggie patties: black bean, lentil, falafel, feta/spinach, and portobello mushroom.“

“We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed. My daughter had the standard burger and I had the bacon horseradish burger. Both cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The fries were so-so and we also had a side of the brussel sprouts which were good but not worth it. The burgers are very good and forget the rest of the items, one of the better burgers in the DC area.“

“I’m a picky person when it comes to eating burgers but this by far is my favorite and only place I’ll order a burger. They always ask how we like it and if it’s medium/ well done which ever you choose they’ve gotten it correct each time which has been one of my reasons why I’m hesitant with order burgers. “I went here last Sat with my brother, his girlfriend and my niece. It was good but not necessarily great. I got hotdogs as I had already had a cheeseburger early in the week. The buns were soft and great. The hotdogs were just ok, and I asked for a little mustard. As you can see, that is not a little. The young men working were doing a great job multitasking and switching between roles.“

“We have been going to Red Robin for years! It's our neighborhood restaurant. Cheryl is our favorite server! She is absolutely amazing! We are actually sad to see the changes- not as busy, food is not the same quality as it used to be. The burger patty is smaller, the pineapple slice was paper thin, and it's just not the same. We're really disappointed- hope things change back.“

“Five Guys quality as expected. The only issue with this specific location is that the person who took my order did not seem to understand me well. I ordered three cheeseburger and told him how I want to have one of them different. Then I did not check the bill, assuming the tax and everything made it higher than I expected. It turned out I paid for and received four cheeseburgers instead of three. This is absolutely my first time facing this issue after many years but definitely unpleasant. Will likely avoid this shop in the future. The employees attitude was nice though.“

It is a great laid back atmosphere just to eat even if you don't want to drink. “I've been going to Five Guys since the Murells opened Number 1 in South Arlington in the 80's. I was friends with two of the brothers, and my brother was a member of the first crew at that store. This franchise keeps true to the atmosphere and food, and I've been coming here for years. Which ever bakery they are using makes rolls that taste and feel closest to the original Brenners recipe. Oddly, I went last night and the only sodas they had in the dispenser were the Zero types. Strange.“

“Just the smell when I walked in and I knew I would be a repeat customer. Super selection of wings and sauces. When I ordered 10 wings, I got 12... Our big office order had lots of extra food which was great for me so I could try out the different sauces. I'll be back again for sure, don't know if I'm going to try anything else, but with these wings not sure why I would.“
