Nice family run restaurant. Lady is always extremely kind. Food is always fresh and yummy. I really enjoy the egg foo yung and the crab cream cheese wontons.

Please stay away from this establishment if possible. I came in first time coming to get a lunch special and did not look at it until I had gotten home.The egg roll was horrible, I bit into it and it was so very hard and I thought I was eating part of the bag it came in could not chew it and on the pepper steak it was more green peppers to cover and a few pieces of meat. I only came here as the other one was closed today, this is my first and last time, I called to let them know and she said okay and hung up, did not care anything about their customers.

Mixed vegetables in white sauce, spring rolls, and some general tso's tofu. Went in on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Great place to catch a quiet lunch!

When I say New China is my GO TO Chinese hookup in Powhatan!I’m not kidding when I say I have burnt out my boyfriend from Chinese food cuz I eat here at least once, if not, twice a week. Service is always fast & friendly! I LOOOVE their cheesesteak egg rolls (5 for $10 not bad at all!) & I always get the Happy Family dish ?

Pretty good Chinese food. Ordered boneless spareribs combo and shrimp in lobster sauce combo. Generous portions at a reasonable price. I will be back!
Most of the time the food is pretty good, but the vegetable egg rolls are nothing special. They taste bland! I think that they purchase them from the dollar tree, because I have & they are very similar in taste!! China Taste on the other hand has good tasting spring rolls.

I like New China and their food is usually good. However, the last time I ordered from them I had a large order and they said it would be 40 minutes. I got there on time, but it took another 15 minutes. Some of the food that was in the deep fryer was cooked to long and was extra crispy and a little dried out . I think the problem is that there was only 2 people working and they need more help. I will order from them again.

I was not a fan of the shrimp chow mein. The noodles for the soup were stale, but the egg drop soup was good. The beef broccoli and chicken lo mein were good.

The food was good but the service could’ve been better, they kept messing up our order several times. when I wanted the large rice I got small, the beef and broccoli doesn’t taste fresh
