I loved this vineyard. The service was amazing. The manager was so sweet. The ambiance is cute. I also actually really enjoyed the wine flights. At first glance I thought the truffle flight was expensive for a small box of chocolate BUT I really enjoyed the chocolate and the wine so I would recommend. I also tried the sweet flight which was equally as good for a great price.

Had an absolutely wonderful time. We went with another couple and had a great experience. The owner, Nancy, was amazing and answered all of our questions. The wine is great. We liked every single wine we tasted. Typically you are lucky to find 1 or 2 wines that you like in a tasting; however, we liked them all. We cannot wait to return when it gets warmer out to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. Would highly recommend a visit.

When we moved to the Eastern panhandle of WV a few years back we started to explore a little and thought "let's check out some vineyards". We went to one that was very pretentious, cold and a huge disappointment. We gave up on the vineyard idea. Fast forward to last year when a friend recommended 868 and said they thought we'd like it. They were wrong...... WE LOVE IT! This is the vibe we were hoping to find in a vineyard and it was under our nose all along. The staff is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. The option for indoor or outdoor seating and a dog friendly outdoor area with cozy firepits is really fun. The food offerings are actually better than many restaurants in the area. And the wine is wonderful. We quickly joined the wine club and have never been disappointed with any wine offering. There is variety to suit every taste and this is our go to spot at least once a week. So glad we found it!

868 was so welcome and accommodating to our large group on short notice. We called them on a snowy afternoon hoping they were open and they told us to come right in. When we arrived they had already set up a large table for us and were so friendly! The wine was delicious (their Grandale 2022 is now one of my top 3 favorite reds) and the food was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

For the most part, we all hope for great wines, right? If so, you've come to the right place! Whites or reds, you won't be disappointed. Add to that the wonderfully friendly and engaging staff, lovely ambiance, a variety of places to sit, gorgeous views and frequent music offerings all add up to being so glad you came. They also have various snack and lunch offerings. We had to come back the next day knowing it was perfect for our weekend getaway.
