“The food was excellent and my server did a good job. However there were several people sitting at the bar that were drunk, loud and out of control. Some of them were employees. Their language was horrible and I ate my dinner as they loudly discussed women’s nipples. So inappropriate in a restaurant! If I ever return, it definitely won’t be for dinner if this is how the restaurant is allowed to operate. I ate my entire meal listening to ongoing cursing in every sentence and other vulgarities. If the food wasn’t so good I would have walked out. The owners need to take a long look at their staff before the full season starts or you’ll be loosing a lot of business.”

“Very satisfied with the Reedville Market. Glenn, our server, was fantastic and personable. The food was decent. I ordered the tuna and it was good. I've had better, but I've also had much worse. The onion rings and cocktails were delicious! The view is great too. Definitely recommend!”

“I definitely ate when I was in Kilmarnock, VA. This cafe was close to where family and I stayed for the weekend, and found this cafe. The staff were friendly and just a nice vibe. Usually I do not eat all my food, but I did that day! The food was really good and no take out box for me! Thanks for the great service and that hometown vibe!”

“Loved coming here! They usually have a food truck out front and cheese snacks inside. The hound dogs running around the vineyards are absolutely adorable. Love the Friday night “wine down” with dancing :)”

“A nice fun local find! The wine was very good! Great atmosphere. We ordered the pizza and a dozen raw oysters. All was quite tasty, but the oysters could have been a bit colder. I usually get them in the shells on ice at other places. These were already shucked and lined up on a long plate over lettuce. It was a nice presentation, but by the time half were eaten the others were almost room temp. Just a small suggestion that maybe some ice on plate (under the lettuce?) would have been a bit better. However not a huge deal. We will be back either way! Looking forward to trying the grilled oysters next month! Everyone working there was extremely friendly and this will no doubt be one of our local hangouts! I also love that they offer bottled beer and hard cider! They have outdoor seating so we look forward to taking our small dog on nice days! Highly recommend!”

“It’s Domino’s…. Not a knock in any way. They make the pizza that the chain has on the menu. They deliver, never miss a thing that was ordered, and get it out in the sticks— quick. They’re always friendly when greeting me with delivery and do that every time. And yes, the pizza is hot and the salad is chilled. Thanks for being here in the NN Domino’s Team!”

“The Avocado Toast is served on a thick slice of sourdough and has a fried egg sprinkled with "everything bagel" seasoning. Delicious! Kind staff, prompt service, fair prices. This is a winner here in Kilmarnock for a casual, quick breakfast or lunch. I stopped in for the first time today and am glad I did. I'll also be taking home a bottle of Organic Balsamic Vinegar Glaze to drizzle on local beets as soon as they are in season, too.”

“This deli is unbeatable! If you like homemade salads, sandwiches, soups and subs...this is the place to go! No fast food greasy crap! Quality meats, cheeses and bread... homemade chicken, tuna, egg and potato salads! Just an awesome stop for lunch! Has withstood the test of time as a family business. I have been going to this deli since 1992 and it's still going strong! The last generation is running it now after decades of serving their community. The Pandemic was hard on all businesses but especially the local small businesses.The daughter makes changes as needed for survival. I have seen that business and family go through so much over time and always manage to survive. I hope Dixie Deli is around for many years to come! You are a blessing to the community!”
