Atmosphere: It felt fun the same way a catalog is fun. It felt like we were in the $1-$5 section at Target based on all the decor. It seemed like it was trying to be fancy but obviously wasn't.Drinks: Flavor was okay on the drinks but was nothing special. Wife had a pile of salt at the bottom of her drink. Mine tasted like whiskey and sprite but was sold as a cocktail. The presentation was pretty on the drinks. They were $16 each which was a disappointment for the quality.Food: The worst part of the meal. First, our appetizer of truffle fries was dry crinkle cut fries and the truffle dipping sauce wasn't a solid mixture, it was all separated and weird.My wife ordered the tiger prawns and rice. When you think of tiger prawns you think of a huge shrimp. She got more medium sized shrimps; not even a large size. The rice was super oily and the sauce the shrimp were on was just mayonnaise with a hint of seasoning. She said the shrimp tasted good though.I ordered the pad Thai with beef. The noodles and onions were honestly great. The beef was the thinnest, most overcooked beef I have ever eaten in the area. There was a lot of it but it was so overcooked and chewy. It was like they bought skirt steak, pounded it even more flat, then cooked it for 10 minutes on high.In review: We went here on a Tuesday trying to have a fun date night after work at a place we had never been by where we live. We spent over $105 before the tip and left extremely disappointed. Nothing here held up to the standard of the area, especially with the price. You expect to spend over $100 on a date night in Reston but also get food that leaves you satisfied.With all the positive reviews we were very excited to go here and honestly, it was some of the lowest value we have gotten at a restaurant in the Reston area ever.I wouldn't suggest going here unless you like low quality food and drinks for upscale prices.Parking: Parking in garage behind building. Or just go somewhere else to not be disappointed.

Very bad service experience. My original dish came out with some extremely tough chicken in it, but our waitress never came back to check on us. I had to flag down someone else to get it fixed, and ordered another dish as a replacement. She didn't bother clearing off the old food or taking the menu, and it took a very long time for anyone to refill our empty water bottle at the table.15-20 minutes goes by, and a 3rd person comes out and informs me they don't actually have the replacement dish I ordered. Apparently no one bothered to ask the kitchen that. At this point my wife had been done with her dish for sometime, so we just got the check and I left hungry.They didn't even comp anything on the check, just gave a gift card to try to get us to come back another time. I'm sorry but no, for an experience like that where one person didn't even get their main because of cooking errors and lack of communication on your end, you need to be comping something significant on that check, if not the whole thing. Doubt we will ever come back.

We visited here for the first time last Friday, and we'll definitely be going back again. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the amazing, creative cocktails prepared right in front of us. I highly recommend the smoked old fashioned, which is smooth and tasty. The food was equally as good and an amazingly creative fusion of cuisine. We had the oceanic bites, and loved them so much we ordered a second round. Can't' say enough good things about Eve's!
