Best food I have had in Nova!! The shrimp and burrata apps were fab! The Sea-bass, gnocchi, smoked mac and cheese all perfection! Cocktails on point! Lovely espresso martini (not sweet!)! Our server Cristian was knowledgeable, professional and helpful with explaining everything aspect of the menu! Will definitely be back!

Heirloom is a cute "speakeasy" meaning there is an unmarked door inside another restaurant. The decor and ambiance is so nice. The drinks are unique and beautiful and the food and service were great. I especially loved the gnocchi and the burrata. The appetizers are well worth the price but the entrees seem priced on the high side for the portion. I would give this place a 4.5 taking off .5 for price. I will be back again for sure. I would love a happy hour with discounted items if only 3-6.

This restaurant is like finding a jewel in a haystack. It is tucked away in the back of the distillery and behind solid doors. Once you find it, it is worth the effort. My date and I went without reservations (not recommended) but were happy to be seated near the bar. She ordered steak and I the sea scallops. We both came away amazed at the quality of the food. The wine selection was great as well.

The food was excellent!! Everything was delicious. The Gouda Mac and cheese was out of this world. The sea bass was wonderful The service was excellent! Even the person bringing the drinks was well versed in the menu and able to answer questions. However The noise level was high. The decoration was nice but It reminded us of a bank a little sterile.

We had such a great experience here! Great service, beautiful ambiance, great service. You definitely need a reservation (and help finding the door!)

Walking through the door of Heirloom is like walking back in time. Everything about this restaurant looks, feels, and tastes delicious. From the smoky Heirloom cocktail to the Beef Carpaccio appetizer to the Wild Mushroom Ravioli to the unforgettably unique Sweet Pea cocktail, our experience was unforgettable. Hats off to the friendly wait staff!

While 5 star reviews are few and far between, when they happen they are special occasions in comfortable surroundings like Heirloom. On a quiet Wednesday evening, decided to check out this relatively new place in Reston Town Center. What a pleasant surprise to find this diamond in the rough behind a door in what is essentially a brew pub "Open Road" in front and cool cocktail bar with delicious interpretations of appetizers and entree in back. To start the cocktails are foo-foo high end style, house liquor or your choice. The Old Fashioned was just right. Not sweet or over muddled... Just block of ice bourbon and dash of bitters, olive garnished.. White wine served in tall stemware crisp and refreshing. And then the belly satisfying delights arrived.. Buratta was to die for.. Shrimp, in "beurre blanc" outstanding! As if that wasnt satisfying enough, we decided to go all out and order more goodies.. Pan roasted scallops.. oh what a delight and the crescendo seafood "Cioppino" Simply heaven.. For desert, sorbet and coconut cream trifle, satisfied the sweet tooth all the way. The staff was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The mood lighting may be extreme for some, however on date night with that special person, the atmosphere is conducive to romance. Parking for Reston Town Center is just across the street and most convenient to the toll road or 267 Fairfax County Parkway. As this was the first toe dip in the water and the water was fine.. We'll be back to explore further this stylish watering spot.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem, the speakeasy inside Open Road Brewery as we've heard it called. It took a few weeks to get a reservation at our regular dining time, but it was worth the wait. First of all, our waitress was wonderful. Very pleasant, very knowledgeable about wines, very attentive without being annoying. The menu definitely has something for everyone, from a basic burger to seafood to pasta, and everything is meticulously prepared and homemade. We started with the burrata and shrimp from the small plates, both excellent. For the main course, we each had a different pasta. My husband loves spicy food and ordered the spicy bucatini, and I got the rigate bolognese, and both the pastas were homemade, and the sauces were so good, which we sopped up with the herb focaccia bread. Usually my husband has to add either crushed red pepper or hot sauce (or both) to get it to his liking, but he didn't have to add anything and loved it as it was prepared. We shared the apple crostata for dessert. Again, very good. Definitely check this place out, but make sure you make a reservation! We will definitely be going back.

Second time at Heirloom! Fabulous as the first experience, this chef is amazing. Gourmet meals that are come with the dining presentation. Scallops and short ribs are amazing. Mussels are to die for! Will keep coming back and spreading the word! Best restaurant in RTC and Reston. Second best restaurant after Le'Aubergie Chef Francois.

Came in for a date night and was sat in a private dinning room with 2 VERY loud parties. It was our first time there and the server was trying to explain something to us but we couldn't hear him or each other. We ordered one drink and drank it fast to get out and go somewhere else.

Food was good. Hard to find the entrance. It is in the back of a brewery. Room acoustics are not great. Lighting is very dark. I get wanting to create a speakeasy but there is really only 1 good table for 2. In the private room next to the wall.

Been there twice and food and service was excellent . Servers frequently checked in to see if everything was ok and automatically refilled water without asking for it

Great location, excellent food and attentive, professional service staff. Unfortunately the bar area contributes a HUGE amount of noise that blocks out conversations in the rest of the restaurant. It starts to get less noisy after 8, but what a shame to ruin the experience for everyone else but the bar patrons.

Our server, Ashley and General Manager, Samuel were great! The ambiance was perfect for my husband's birthday dinner. Our first time here but certainly will not be our last. Food was enjoyable. The beef carpaccio and Oysters Rockefeller appetizer were excellent.
