Lester was our waiter and he was amazing! Gave us recommendations on the menu and was attentive to our party of 4 adults and 1 child. The service and brood was exceptional and will definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: My 5 year old grandson loved the fries and chicken tenders. Oh and the ranch dressing is very good as well.
Tucked away between the Reston Station Silverline Metro and the new JW Marriott the Matchbox restaurant and outside bar are a great place to unwind after a long day.

Thank you Lester for a great dinner. My family and I had a great dinner at the Matchbox in Reston.Food was very good, prices are fair and Lester was a great server. He made sure to listen to us to see what we like and made good recommendations based on our tastes, he clearly knew the menu. Lester was also always smiling and so friendly.The restaurant has a great atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our time and our food together. Would recommend and will return for another night out!Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian eater and everyone I dine with is not. I ordered the spinach & artichoke dip and a margarita pizza. Both were very good and I would order again.

I've always loved Matchbox. I had the seared Salmon at it was excellent. Appetizer was crab and artichoke dip which I always like with bread. They're new in- house bourbon made their already excellent Old Fashioned even better. My only issue is it's very loud in the bar, too many hard surfaces make it difficult to talk to someone on the other side of the table.Parking: Nice drop of location. Garage is only paid during normal business hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Recently constructed with no elevation changes.

We were the only table there at 11 so you'd think the service would have amazing but it was slow. The food took a long time. Having to seek out the waiter for items or refills. Dirty silverware. Cold coffee. Half were unhappy with their meals Whole thing was meh.

Such a great spot for happy hours and their karaoke night is so much fun. Leah is the best kj ever! Gluten free options are available at all locations and I love that orders can be modified to avoid cross-contamination. Definitely try the spicy margarita.
