Sad the location in Herndo closed; however, the Reston location seems to have stepped up their game as a result. In the past they put toppings on like they paid for each out of their own pay, now they put a fair amount on without having to ask for them to at least cover the bottom of the pizza.

Just visited at 8:30pm, they refused to make my order "for here" even though they are open until 10pm. The staff was rude, didn't accurately make my order and barely said anything to me, no hello, no good evening, no thank you. Nothing. Very odd experience, food was fine, it was hot and crispy but just wasn't super flavorful. Probably won't be back.

15.61 before tip on Grubhub. Sometimes when they actually put toppings on it's worth it. 9 out of 10 times it's not.

Decent. I just wish they had more options other than just pizza? Normally, pizza places have few pasta options.

Actually, more like 3 1/2 starsWe had tried MOD Pizza once in Ashburn and thought it was OK. This past Saturday, we decided to order 2 of their pizzas through Doordash. Their pizzas come in 2 different sizes---6 inch and 11 inch. We opted for the 11 inch ones thinking that if we get full, we could always save the leftovers for later. We both choose the default crust which is thin. I added red sauce, mozzarella cheese, roasted garlic, chopped tomatoes and bacon. My husband added red sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage, mushrooms, roasted garlic and red onion.Doordash got the pizzas to us in a very timely fashion meaning that they were still hot when we got them. This was an inexpensive dinner---2 pizzas before the tip, tax and delivery fee cost $27 + change. As for the pizzas---for the most part we enjoyed them. My one critique of my pizza was that the bacon seemed to have an off taste. The best way to describe it is this way---Ever put leftover food in the fridge but didn't cover it then when you went to eat it, it had picked up odors of other items in the fridge? Yeah...I think that's what happened to the bacon. My husband thought that the default crust was too thin and thought that getting a thicker crust would have been better. He thought the thin crust caused the pizza to get dried out while it was baked. Otherwise---We both thought the pizzas were decent. It surprised us both that we were able to eat them without feeling full. If you order a MOD Pizza be sure to temper your expectations. It's a middle of the road pizza. In other words, you won't be getting a pizza like one from Grimaldi's or John's in NYC or Regina's in Boston. Since we didn't set foot in the place, I can't speak to the ambiance. We will order from them again but I agree with my husband when it comes to the crust. The thicker crust would have made a big difference.

I guess it's okay if you're not expecting anything like NY style pizza. The whole place baffles me tbh. Short staffed on a Saturday night? Or maybe just the wrong staff. I've never seen a pizza made so slow. It gave me anxiety thinking someone in charge was about to come out and start scolding them. And why is everything so measured? You're offering unlimited toppings but the guys making the pizzas smear a tiny amount of sauce on the pie and are using what looks like a 1/4 cup scoop the dole out the mozz?I watched one guy carefully placing exactly 7 pieces of pepperoni on each pizza without a care in the world. It's unlimited toppings! Get 'em on there and move onto the next. And are you seriously trying to sell me a bootleg ding dong desert for $3.99? Get outta here.Ambiance? It's like any other restaurant interior found in a strip mall. And just for background - I spent years working in pizza shops. If it took me 10 mins to put together an 11" pizza with a pre-made crust I would've been thrown out on my butt the first day.

Ingredients are fresh and plentiful. The crust is just okay. The ho-ho dessert makes up for that crust though. Kids like coming here because they control what is on their pizza. The drink selection here is also excellent.Appreciate how quick and friendly the staff are here.
