Recently joined some old friends at Pupatella in Reston. It was only a short walk from the Metro so it was convenient for all of us.. We ended up being a group of 7 and were welcomed cheerfully and quickly seated. Great bartender fixed a variety of drinks. We started out sharing a a bunch of appetizers, which were all very good. However, the pizza was the star of the show. It was thin crust baked quickly in a very hot oven and with fresh toppings was delicious. One of our friends grew up in Italy and said it was the most authentic Neapolitan pizza he has had since moving to the U.S. We lingered around talking for a good while and no one made us feel rushed. Needless to say, we will all be back! In fact, we noticed that they have a really nice outdoor area that will be great when the weather warms up.

Wow! My new favorite restaurant! Authentic Neapolitan pizza; it's amazing. I'm told they fly their ingredients straight from Italy twice a week; their certification is hard to obtain. You can tell. The sauce is to die for-those tomatoes fresh from San Marzano! Pizza is fantastic and those zucchini fires are just heavenly. Staff is nice and you can tell they want everything to be just right. Will be our regular go to restaurant for sure.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while in the area… the manager was very helpful and friendly and the menu is their standard menu, loaded with all sorts of tasty items.I opted for their Pepperoni Pizza, which uses beef pepperoni and I think that’s awesome! I asked them to cook it slightly longer so it wouldn’t be as soft in the middle. It came out looking amazing, with a nice char on the crust, but the center was still too soft to pick up while hot, as all the toppings would slide off. So, the first couple of slices, I had to fork & knife, but once it cooled slightly, I was able to fold and pick up the remaining slices.Flavors were on point! Sauce was great! Pepperoni was amazing!! Overall, I really enjoyed it!

I went to Pupatella in Reston for the first time yesterday, and it was great! Best pizza I’ve had since moving to Northern VA 6 years ago. The wine, salad, pizza, and service were great! I will definitely be going back. And the leftovers heat up well too.

Pupatella is great. The ambiance is a bit rough around the edges, but the staff are great, the food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. If you're into fancy pants places, hop the metro, go into DC, and pay five times the price. If you want good food that doesn't cost a house payment, pull up a chair here.
Had spur of the moment dine at Pupatella. Pizza & beer were tasty. Our waiter ANDERSON was great. He was friendly and efficient, there when we needed something. Overall good experience.Parking: Parking on weeknight was fine. Friday & Saturday night may be busier. You could walk to Metrorail.

Always have a great time here, whether eating pizza with my daughter or going there solo to work for a couple hours. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Good sized pizza with simple tasty ingredients. The margarita pizza is definitely a highlight, although unassuming at first glance, each bite had a good depth of flavor that I surely missed after finishing the pizza. I also recommend their panini, especially the vegetable one which was surprising considering I am a meat lover kind of guy. The menu recommends one pizza per person however one pizza is definitely enough to feed two. This place is a breath of fresh air compared to the inauthentic lab-based pizza that is found everywhere. The service was great, although one of our orders was wrong it was promptly corrected. The inside is very cozy, but some tables should be larger as fitting multiple pizzas in the small area that is given is quite the puzzle.

Ever since we discovered this place it’s our favorite! We have tried a few of their pizzas and have loved them all. Tonight we did takeout and they were slammed. Our order was delayed so I had to wait longer than expected. I never complained, and yet when they gave me my order they apologized profusely and gave me a coupon for a free pizza! I love this type of customer service!
