Our project, Backpacks for the Homeless RVA, has been working with this group for well over a year now. Very solid people that want to do the best they can to look after people in need in the area. Very unselfish folks. If you are going through a hard time and need food, please go see these people on Fridays between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. If you are looking to support a local nonprofit that genuinely cares about feeding others, please consider getting a hold of these folks.

The people here are doing God's work. They have a great heart and attitude to serve people with needs. They've made so many connections and have a tremendous amount of food donated to them. I had the opportunity to volunteer there putting together bags of cookies for meals and candy for Christmas. There are a lot of churches connected to this ministry. If you get an opportunity to serve there, you should go.
