At 6 AM, I never expected my wake-up call to be belly pain induced by last night's biryani. What was promised as a flavorful blend of veggies and rice turned out to be a chaotic mix of bland, uncooked grains. Thanks for the 'unique' experience, but a message to the kitchen: serving subpar dishes at any hour is not the way to keep customers coming back. My stomachache speaks louder than words. #BiryaniBlues #CulinaryCaution"

It’s the worst experience from Anokha . We ordered Chicken Biryani and it feels they just boil the rich and gave it .

Easily one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I do not think the chef knows how to prepare Indian food. The two curries we ordered had WHOLE peppercorns in them. We ordered medium hot and it was inedible without any flavor. Any competent Indian restaurant would never serve whole peppercorns and whole cloves in their curries. I’m attaching pictures of the peppercorns and cloves in about 1/3 of our left over. You can imagine how many were there in the whole dish.

I have been here before but today the food was superior. I had the Rogan Gosh and the lamb was meltingly tender and the sauce subtly
Love the food here. My friends tell me this is as authentic as you can get. Service was good although they were all pretty serious. Didn't get in the way of enjoying ourselves. And the ambiance is great! Quiet, unassuming place and quiet enough to enjoy conversations.

We got the Saag Paneer (5/5), chicken tikka masala (2/5), and tandoori chicken tikka (1/5) with butter naan (2/5). Saag paneer was tasty and well seasoned. Chicken tikka masala and the tandoori were all white meat. Would have been fine if it were cooked well, but both dishes were dry and hard to eat. Chicken tandoori had minimal seasoning. Naan was chewy and a bit burnt. None of that wonderful ghee flavor. I would highly recommend going to Jannat instead. Superior taste and meat. Naan is superior as well.

We had the most delicious lunch ever! The lamb korma was the best we ever ate and the seafood goan curry was delicious as well. Lunch included naan and a salad which was above average and a pea dish that we really enjoyed. The service was friendly and quick. The portions were generous. We will definitely be back, even from the Southside.
