Tried them today at an event. Got the guac bowl for $12. Paid cash but they "didn't have change." It was one of the healthier options at the event and I wanted to give this place a try. I was very underwhelmed. Their competitors are priced and taste better. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it. Some of the rice was mushy/clumps and it says seasoned rice but it was just like bland plain white rice cooked poorly. The guac wasn't good, sour and texture was weird like fillers were added. Not enough veggies or toppings at all and I opted for all the included toppings. Tried it once and not inclined to come back.

Loved the guacamole bowl I got at Hardywood West Creek. Super friendly staff and we got our entree faster than any other food truck order I think I've ever received. Really appreciated the non-meat options. Maybe expand that line more? From now on I will get SO excited to see the orange Arroz RVA truck whenever we find a food truck event!!

This quesadilla I just bought is just trifling for $6 lol and to think they wanted to charge me $1 more for salsa. Not again.

Poor communication when inquiring about their catering/food truck. They seemed upset the email subject title used read "taco truck". I love supporting small local businesses but absolutely will not tolerate rude customer service!

Delicious! They came to our neighborhood tonight and I'm so glad we tried it!! I got the steak bowl with guacamole. It was very flavorful and fresh tasting! I would say the hot sauce is more of a medium sauce to me but it was still very good. I would definitely buy again.

I've gotten lunch at the Arroz RVA food truck a few times and it's consistently excellent. Although a little pricey at $10-11 for a burrito or a bowl, it's a very tasty and seemingly healthier alternative to larger build-your-own-burrito chains (and without the cilantro, for those of you who think it tastes like soap!). When they're busy the wait time can be significant, but the service is friendly and efficient. I also appreciate that they take orders only a few at a time as the meat cooks rather than creating a backlog of orders, so you'll always receive fresh, hot food and also only have to wait a few minutes after you order. My go-to order is the organic grilled chicken bowl with rice, cheese, lettuce, black beans, sour cream, and corn. It's very simple but really allows the flavors to shine. The chicken is well seasoned and cooked perfectly to order, the rice is a great consistency, and the toppings are always fresh.

I love trying new things so when I heard Arroz was going to be at my job I had to check it out. First impression the staff is really nice. They really roped me in with good conversation and the willingness to help me!! I decided to order a steak bowl at 11 bucks I thought it was priced slightly higher than their competitors but I decided to give in. The steak was cooked very well but was not seasoned at all. The overall flavor profile was bland. I love a good food truck and supporting small businesses but I dont see myself returning to shell out anymore cash on food I had to drown in hot sauce.
