Most tender Cowboy Cut Ribeye I've ever had... My wife had the Medallions with Lump Crap, beautiful portions, perfect cook temps!! My Caesar salad was perfect with several anchovies served on top. For dessert I had the cheesecake, wife had the coffee and chocolate cake. Wonderful evening!!

We really enjoyed this small, intimate steak house with excellent service and food. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of beef and other menu items were a great find Richmond. We also liked how each meals includes the potato, vegetable side and salad with are usually a pain to decide what/when to order as sharables. The service was excellent and we look forward to coming back!

It was our 1st time here. It might not have fancy appeal but it has one of the best services I ever experienced not only in Richmond but in whole Virginia. Our water was so attentive and knowledgeable. The rest of the stuff was as attentive. We ordered a steak appetizer, it was really good. I ordered lobster tale and potato cake, it was cooked well. The only issue I had is side vegetables- broccoli was mushy, carrots were dried and green bean ends were dry out as well. My husband order rack of lamb and baked potato. Lamb comes covered with cherires, it looked wonderful. Poor baked potato was squeezed on the same little plate as the side of the vegetable.I wish the side salad would be bigger. The mushrooms were tasty and the desserts were delicious. My husband ordered bread pudding and I ordered blood orange sorbet which they make in house.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy freeParking: Free parking

This place has been on my radar and my husband and I decided to make reservations for our one year wedding anniversary. I definitely suggest making reservations about a week in advance to make sure you get a time you want. When we made reservations they asked if we were celebrating anything special and we shared that it was our anniversary. When we arrived the host greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary, a very nice, personal touch! The ambiance is very old school steakhouse feel. Dark wood and moody lighting. People were dressed a little more casual than I was expecting, but this being my first time I wasn’t sure what to expect. My husband wore dark jeans, white button down shirt, sport coat, and boots. This was perfect. Now let’s get to the good stuff! We started off with drinks. My husband got the Buckheads old fashion and I the Belle Isle espresso martini, both delicious!! My husband was impressed with the bourbon selection. The wine list was extensive! We then got the seared scallop appetizer. They were cooked perfectly! Next salads. We both had the Caesar salad. The dressing was light and fresh tasting. The salad was a nice size, not so big that it was going to fill you up before the main course. My husband got the 14oz ribeye with the potato cake and sautéed vegetables. He’s a big steak guy and he thoroughly enjoyed this one. There wasn’t a bite of anything left on his plate. I got the Buckheads steak and crab. It was 3 filet medallions in a vermouth demi glace topped with lump crab and a bernaise sauce. The filet was cooked to perfection and the bernaise sauce was a great complement to the crab. I got the mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Those mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had! We finished our meal with the very tasty vanilla bean creme brûlée with strawberries. Which happened to be on the house for our anniversary! There was a waiter specifically for water, so our glass was never less than half empty. The attention to detail was something you don’t see just anywhere. Service was great!

The food service, and drinks were absolutely amazing. My wife's lemon drop martini was the best we'd ever tasted and clearly had fresh squeezed lemons. Most importantly the steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and tasted phenomenal.

Visited twice- once for dinner and once for apps and drinks in the bar area. Great service. Enjoyed all of the apps we tried on both visits, and the wine list is wonderful. Not the best steak or sides I’ve had in the area, but willing to try it again as I’m hoping these were just “off” nights (based on so many other glowing reviews).
Classic steak house. Service was fantastic and the food really good. The veal chop was a nice change from the usual NY strip. Scallops a wonderful starter.
