Excellent local coffee, bakery, and lunch spot. Nothing here disappoints. Plus it’s charming.

Cute family-friendly spot on Libbie - nice for a daytime hang or happy hour. I've seen both kids studying and adults working remote here. Indoor seating and outdoor patio seating available. The service is consistently friendly and welcoming. I've only ever tried the cupcakes - they'll have your basic flavors on everyday rotation and also offer seasonal/weekend specials. Not my fave cupcake spot, but you can't beat the location/ambiance.

Absolutely in love with this cake ! There was a small hiccup upon pick up but the manager was sure to work it out . This cake was moist , and delicious. We are truly pleased .

Stopped by today to get cupcakes for a friend’s birthday—what a fun little cafe with fabulous atmosphere and friendly service. We got several cupcakes. They were all frosted beautifully with a great presentation. The cake and the frosting on each that I tried were AMAZING. Great texture, crumb and flavor. One of them was GF—best GF cupcake we’ve ever, ever had!We will definitely be back!

The owner and two ladies serving at the bar were very nice and the food was magnificent. They even alowed my daughter to blow her bubbles and that made her day thank you.

Quaint cafe with a variety of options for all! Even if you are gluten free or following a low carb diet, there are menu items for you. And if you'd like something a bit stronger than a latte, there are fun cocktails to enjoy! Be sure to visit their website to make a reservation and carpool if you're with a group, as parking is limited.

I decided to stop in today as I'm on a quest to find good croissants in Richmond. I decided to try a chocolate croissant and a vanilla latte. It was such a nice day that I decided to sit outside in the front to eat and drink. The croissant was served warm, with flaky crust and gooey chocolate inside. The latte was super foamy. Both were delicious! The staff was super friendly. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be coming back!

I needed an old fashioned Butter Brickle cake for my brother's 65th birthday. I contacted several bakeries and Cameo Bakery was the only one willing to do it. Not only was it gorgeous, it was one of the best cakes I've had in my entire life--and I'm 66! I will sing their praises from the rooftops of social media today! I'd post a photo but my computer won't allow it.

Cupcakes and customs are hands down the best in the area (if not Virginia). Icing, designs and flavor are always unique and make you want to come back!

Cameo Cakery. I'd gone before a few times with girlfriends and the service had always been slow or "off" but it had never been as bad as this day. I came in with my husband and two kids. They're 12 and 8.5. We made a reservation which is awesome that they let you do that. We got to our table immediately when we walked in, but then sat for quite a while for even a drink order. I think they had one server for the entire place. When she did finally come over, my kids were going to order, but as I grabbed the drink menu, she was like "ohhh yeah ok cool yeah I'll be back". And I was like "but waaai...t..." and she walked off. My kids and husband were ready, I wasn't. She needs to learn better cues if she's a server? So we sat there for a good solid 15 minutes before a drink even happened. I ordered a hibiscus tea and it's freakin delicious. My son had a hot chocolate and it was delivered cool unfortunately. Not even warm. The kids' cinnamon rolls showed up. They're flaky and full of cream cheese frosting. So so tasty. My husband's cortado coffee shows up. It's luke warm. My daughter's frozen drink shows up with my husbands breakfast. And I'm just sitting there. For another 5 minutes? I flagged the server down and was like hey, hi! And she comes over like ?? My husband says "she ordered egg salad on a croissant". She was like "ohhh yeah, yeaahh sorry about that, yeah I'll put that in". I should've known when she didn't write down our order she wouldn't get it right. So my kids are done with their food. It's been near 30 minutes since seating and it's a cafe. This is not a restaurant. I'm actually not sure why they have table service when it's like this. My husband drinks his coffee and his egg croissant is going cold so I was like don't wait for me, please just eat. He offers me some and it's good but cold. And as he's almost done I flag the waitress down and tell her to just go ahead and cancel the sandwich. I was nice. I was smiling. I wasn't trying to be a problem, I just didn't want to eat by myself and be there another 30-40 minutes. The waitress asked me if was sure 3 times. I said yes, absolutely no worries, it was alllll good. My tea was gorgeous. Cinnamon rolls were great. She was like ohhh, no it's ok, I'll just take it off the check, you can still have it. This was an offer. I didn't request this. So this is where shit went awry and why I'm writing this. The owner of the place comes out and accosts me in front of the kids and my husband. She straight out comes over and says "I hear there's a problem with your order." Not "hi I'm so and so and I'm the owner, I'm sorry was there was an issue?.." She was ego driven. And when I told her no there was no issues we were just wrapping it up. She asked if I wanted to talk about it and I kindly said no, there wasn't a problem". She kept going. She was making it a problem. This was SO uncomfortable in such a tiny space in front of my kida and other people. No means no. No I didn't want to talk about it. I said No. My husband was pretty appalled she had no respect for my No. The amount of ego was too much for us to ever return or recommend. I don't care how cute your cafe is. Your service is terrible and I'm not about to be accosted in front of my kids by her or anyone. I wrote this same review in the local RVA dine and drink group and over 25 people commented having the same experience. The owner Christina responded to the group by explaining her restaurant's internal issues instead of apologizing to the patrons that had all had bad experiences, including myself.

Service was friendly. I thought the decaf coffee was ok but my wife thought it was not strong enough. My vegan pizza was small but that's ok because it was the worst I've ever had; worse than any pizza from the freezer case in a grocery store. My wife's spinach croissant was so-so, not flaky at all. My Boston cream pie cupcake tasted like a cheap wedding cake; wife said her peanut butter cupcake was ok.

Will have to come back when the cinnamon rolls are available. The seasonal cocktail was fun and the chocolate croissant was good!
