We were passing through and saw chewys had a 4.6/5 star review on Google. Our expectations were high going into our meal and they were surpassed. I got the breakfast sammy with bacon jam on an everything bagel and they knocked it out of the park. Sweet, salty, warm, chewy. 5/5 and well deserved. This was a great way to kick off our 10 hour drive. Thanks and we will be back someday!

Absolutely love the bagels here, best bagels in Richmond by far. We get these bagels at least once a week and we are never disappointed for taste. They are super generous with cream cheese too which is nice. Unfortunately we have had hairs in our bagels from time to time which comes with any dining out experience but today our bagels had THREE hairs in one of them.I think the staff needs to start being more serious about tying up hair or simply wearing hair nets.

Chewy's bagels are great. BUT! I went out of the way to go by Chewy's this morning but it's Tuesday so they are not opened. Guess what Chewy's?! Nate’s is closed on Tuesday too. So there's no place to get a good bagel in Richmond on Tuesday. If I were the owner of Chewy's, I would figure out when my competitors are closed so I could scoop up their bagel-craving customers. Bottom line: New York quality bagels without the New York convenience of always, or almost always, open.

Solid bagel spot. I felt a tad bit rushed at the counter when ordering but the staff member working the order counter was friendly. Lot's of variety to make your own bagel and also some pre made menu options. Iced vanilla latte was very good. Food came out quickly for a busy Saturday morning. I'm weird with egg texture and the egg wasn't settling with my taste buds. Appreciate the Duke's mayo, over all good bagel sandwich! Will definitely come back and try again.

I absolutely love this bagel spot! It’s become my new go-to because of their delicious vegan cream cheese offerings. They now have two flavors, plain and scallion, which is absolutely awesome. Hope they will continue to expand their vegan offerings. But regardless I will be back for a Rosemary Sea Salt bagel with vegan scallion cream cheese!!

Compared to other chains such as Manhattan Bagel or the infamous legends such as Leo’s Bagels (NYC), these are decidedly mid.I was disappointed by the lack of options for different sandwiches. Also prices are fairly steep for what you get food-wise.
