AWFUL customer service. Lady acted liked I kicked her dog a gave the ugliest face when my 6 year old asked to taste the strawberry and the mixed berry before she decided what to order. Definitely won't be going back there again. If you hate your job that much find something else to do!

Love, love, love DeLuca Gelato!We've had it at local restaurants and by the pint at a few RVA restaurants though somehow missed there was a physical location where you can see and try dozens (approximately 50) of intriguing flavors! Oh my, walking in was like going to Disneyland!They have Sorbetto, Gelato, and Gelato with nuts all clearly labeled by color in the case, all made with fresh ingredients and NO corn syrup. Plenty of dairy free and nut free optionsThey also offer Milkshakes, Smoothies, and Frappecaffe - gelato blended with Italian coffee. AND Affogato - a scoop of gelato "drowned" in espresso!They make their cones on site too!Ambiance is bright, cheerful and inviting Service was outstanding!!!!!!Plenty of seating inside and outsideGenerous portion sizeCutest little gelato spoon :)My rating rationale +1 Service+1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality+1 Presentation+1 Atmosphere/vibe+1 Value

I believe this is the best gelato shop in the Richmond area. Authentic consistency with tons of different flavors to choose from. They use real ingredients so everything is bursting with flavor. The shop is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. The staff and management are super friendly and patient. The shop is very comfortable with plenty of seating. They make homemade cones and the shops smells of the cones baking when you walk in.
Deluca Gelato has become my favorite spot for ice cream. They impress with an extensive array of ice creams and delightful Sorbetto options. The ice cream's creamy texture is a pleasure, and the staff's friendliness enhances the comfortable atmosphere, making it perfect for meeting friends. Not to mention, the competitive pricing and minimal waiting time for service make the experience even more enjoyable.

Delicate Gelato is an adorable gelato shop and so many delicious flavors! Choose your size cup or cone and fill it with any of their delicious flavors. I love the Amaretto, Cookies & Cream , and Biscoff Cookie flavors. However, with choices like Chocolate Hazelnut, Cookie Dough, and Dark Chocolate, you cannot go wrong.The sweet spot offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy where you please depending on the weather. It's really nice to enjoy your gelato on one of their outdoor tables during the spring & summer months.
