We are in Richmond this weekend for a Mermaid convention and after setting up our booth we were starving! Staying close to this place I saw the good reviews and figured we would try it out. My husband got the black pepper chicken dinner combo and I got the triple delight dinner combo. The friend rice was delicious and not that crazy yellow rice that is loaded with msg. Their portions were huge and the price was great! The triple delight was delicious too! My husband really liked the black pepper chicken as well!

I think it's an entirely mediocre Chinese and Thai place. Way too much broccoli in the orders in my opinion. Their advantage is that they're relatively quick, well located with good hours, have a lot of menu options, and are fairly priced. It's okay.

First of all let me say I love Chinese food. I bought from this place because the chinese restaurant near my house didn’t have a lot of flavor in their food so I came to this location. Unfortunately this Chinese restaurant is the same. I ordered 2 dinner specials,sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and pork egg rolls. The food was bland and not a lot of flavor in rice or egg rolls. The duck sauce was also bland. Only the chicken had flavor. One plate was for my mom and she agreed. I had high hopes for this restaurant because all the positive reviews and I was contemplating on coming here for weeks and the food was not nasty not delicious just okay. The sweet and sour chicken had a cup of sauce while the sesame chicken was cooked in sauce and had broccoli in it. I mixed my sesame chicken and rice together to flavor rice with chicken and the sauce. They should pour the sesame sauce over the rice to add more flavor instead of serving plain rice with onions. Stop being stingy with the sauce. I caught the bus home and got there almost 2 hours later at almost 8pm on a dark cold night and the food was still very hot. The people here are hard working and nice so i’ll hate to give negative reviews. I feel as if the cooks was rushing thru orders to be done quick. There was only like 2 or 3 cooks and 6 people in line in front of me. The cashier lady taking orders said 30 minutes and it was here at like 15 minutes. I’ll be willing to wait longer for more flavorful food. I’ll give them another try and order something different the next time. The service was good but the food was neutral,so I gave a neutral review. 3 out of 5 stars.

East King is another good Chinese Restaurant in the Southside Area of Richmond that I must admit i'm addicted to. I mean you cannot go wrong with anything on there menu. Me & my friends love this spot , this is our Go to because of it's quality of taste, prices, and location. They have parking but not too much. The prices are great for quality and taste. The atmosphere is very dark and needs some rearranging. It looks as if it's still down from Covid(2020) Besides the dark interior the food is my favorite part and they never disappoint!!!!
I just can't. The ambiance is great. The hospitality is on point. I ordered a small green curry for takeout. It was horrible. The chicken had no seasoning, the broth was watery and not flavorful, as were the green beans and veggies in the curry. I want to like them so much. The food is plentiful..the egg rolls were great. Everything was hot. You need good cooks and flavor!!!

Ghetto shopping center with bums in the parking lot. Great carry out in the restaurant. They ask you if you want it spicy. Big portions for the cost.
