Rudest customer service I have ever encountered on VCU campus! I came to pick up my grubhub order and I was blatantly ignored by one of the women preparing drinks. When I got her attention by saying “Hi i’m here to pick up my grubhub order” she rudely yelled in my face “good afternoon” in a condescending tone and when i said hi again, she rudely yelled “good afternoon” again as if I had not greeted her 3 times already. When I said good afternoon back she threw my food at me across the counter. Terrible way to treat customers and students! Will NEVER be returning or purchasing a meal plan ever again. Don't take out your anger on customers because you are having a bad day. She definitely ruined mine after that.

ordered a bagel with no avocado. first time they just blatantly ignored my request. real robots back there. second time ordered with no avocado, they put avocado, and scraped it off once they realized they messed up. with some avocado still on there, they thought it was okay to send it out. what if there was an allergy? they are asking and waiting for a lawsuit

Closest thing I get to bagels from home (nyc) and I'm never disappointed. I'm always in and out quickly, which is nice when I'm on the go.

It's fine. The bagels themselves are nice quality, though they never give nearly enough cream cheese, so if that's your goal you may want to get a bagel with different toppings instead.

When it's good, it's good. But the quality varies a LOT. Today I ordered a bagel with extra cream cheese because they don't put enough for my preference. I was charged for the extra cream cheese, which fine whatever, but then still got only a little!!

I ordered a lox bagel and whoever prepared it gave me a single piece. And it wasn't even a full slice. I don't expect NY quality when I go to Einstein, but c'mon! Seriously? If I had known this is the serving size they're giving out these days, I would have just ordered a bagel with cream cheese.

I purchased Asiago bagel with avocado, red onions, tomato, lettuce, spinach, and a sauce they created. It was so delicious I make it at home now. They did originally get my order wrong. However, it was fixed immediately with no hesitation.

This place is lit unless you are on the vcu meal plan. Meal plan options are limited, but isn't everything with the meal plan. 5star

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The ingredients are always very fresh. They have excellent bagels, great selection of sandwiches made on croissants as well as on bagels. Nice assortment of pastries and muffins, always fresh and so delicious. I love the nova lox, or avocado bacon egg. You can see the team hustling to make your sandwiches to order using very fresh ingredients and custom sauces. They also have a full menu of coffee drinks, shakes and smoothies. Their cold brews and cappuccinos are top notch. Perfect environment for family or friends with laptop station, outlets, WiFi, TV, super clean and nice.

The food is really good when the employees actually care and don't throw together your food. Half the time they take orders and hold back food until they have a stock of orders done and then start calling names after about 15-20min waiting for something to be called. The employees work slow and do not take care to be fully stocked nor care about what can be seen behind the counter. I go to school at VCU and heavily rely on "fast food" using my meal plan and as much as the bagels are good, often time the sandwiches are rushed and messy and you can't make the coffee how you want because they have nothing stocked properly. I changed my review to 1 star because I've been waiting for an hour for my food and there isn't more than 15 people here. The employees are having casual conversation and standing around while all of us are waiting for service. Poor poor restaurant, need new management and employees.

It's a good option to use swipes at vcu. Of course, you won't actually get your money's worth, but that is true for litterally every swipe option on campus. It's relatively open swipe schedule means it isn't that busy when it takes swipes. It is pretty good food and it is always better than going to Shafer.

Hours say 7AM-3PM but it was closed at 8:30AM
