Enoteca Sogno sets the bar for excellent Italian cuisine in Richmond. Tucked away in a nondescript building in Bellevue, this cozy, welcoming restaurant offers incredibly delightful Italian dishes and a robust wine list. I was DD but I heard great things about the Moscato wine. We ordered the robiola cheese to start, which came with their super lovely homemade bread. We needed a second helping of that. Even the olive oil was clearly high quality. For my meal, I opted for the crespelle pasta special, which was basically like a pasta crepe with spinach, bechamel, and cheese with marinara. It was so good and not sickeningly filling, which was an added plus. It let me save room for their lemon mascarpone cake for dessert! Service was prompt and friendly. I was glad we were able to score a table on a rainy Wednesday evening. For busier times, I'd definitely book a reservation.

Allie, server was great. Good cozy atmosphere. Tuna steak a little bit too rare and not as warm as it should have been. Or a 4 would be given. Will go back.

Really good. Great environment. Terrific wine list. Also the prices are terrific for the quality of the food.

Good food, excellent service, cozy atmosphere, but nothing spectacular. Vegetarian options were minimal.

I was really looking forward to tonight. We were going out with friends and had never been here before so I looked at the menu ahead of time and was excited about my choices. Ordered a few apps and a bottle of wine to share and got off to a pretty good start. Good enough that we were willing to put up with how cold it was at our table. Our pastas arrived and I was so disappointed. It was the worst shrimp scampi I have ever had. There was absolutely no flavor on the pasta. I could see garlic but couldn't taste it or any butter. The liquid in the plate was more like water. Such a letdown and it really impacted my evening. By the time anyone came back to our table to check on things, never even had water refilled, everyone else was done and I was just ready to go home. I didn't want my terrible experience to ruin their night too.

We celebrated my son’s 23rd birthday, the food was amazing. The wine was superb! The desserts were to die, for I highly recommend.

My party and I had a reservation for Friday night. It was relatively pretty quiet and cozy at the start, but as the night went on the tables and bar started to fill, creating a fun environment, while still holding onto the charming vibe. The food was super tasty, with everyone at my table sampling from the each other's plates. We ordered four of the desserts and I would easily come back for a glass of wine and the tiramisu. Fun spot, hope to be back soon!

I have been here before, but it's been several years. The place feels more casual; more friendly. I ordered a sauvignon blanc, but they only serve Italian wines. It was a white from the Veneto. Excellent. I asked that it be at room temperature, and my request was net without a blink. My companion and I shared the arugula salad as an antipasto. Peppery arugula with a lemon olive oil dressing top with a sharp salty shaved Parmigiano. My main was the tuna with peppers. This was slightly sweet, and where peppers can often be a distraction, this was amazingly complimentary. My side was a yummy tagliatelle with earthy wild mushrooms. The sea and the earth. My companion has the rockfish hot and beautifully cooked to maintain the tenderness of the fish. Dessert was the lemon mascarpone cake, a bursting flavorful end to a most satisfying repast!

Amazing, authentic Italian food and highly curated wine list. Try the white beans, arugula and shrimp crostini for a starter, followed by the wild mushroom pasta for a main, and end with homemade tiramisu.

A large group of co-workers gathered at this restaurant. The server was incredibly attentive to all of our needs, including a dietary restriction of one of our co-workers. The food was served family style which allowed us to try various items on the menu while satisfying different appetites around the table. The food was incredibly fresh and hot coming out of the kitchen which I was so pleased given that we were such a large party. The food tasted incredible and we ate to our heart's delight.
