This is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My husband and I made a breakfast reservation here after reading all the fantastic reviews. Despite having a reservation and the restaurant being practically empty, we were seated at the worst table in the room right by the front door. After moving our table, we waited over 10 minutes until anyone came to our table to take our order. After the server took our order, she came back 15 mins later and said the kitchen was out of what I had ordered and I needed to pick something else. I started to order a different item and our server literally walked away as I was speaking to go take another tables order. My husband went to speak to the manager and she finally came back after another 15 minutes. When she came back she had the worst attitude and was rolling her eyes as I was ordering. My husband asked to have my order rushed since we had been there so long and he had already gotten his food. She came back out 10 minutes later with a tiny bowl of strawberries and said she had still put in my side of fruit. At this point, we had been at the restaurant for over an hour and the only thing I was given to eat was a cup of strawberries. My husband talked to the manager again and they didn’t offer to comp our bill or any sort of discount for this horrible inconvenience and rude wait staff.

I ate here last week. Not as good as I remembered, but still pretty good. Shrimp and grits were, good, not the best, but not bad 3.7 out of 5. Happy hour drinks were just okay too, the Paloma. I don't think I'll return anytime soon.

Amazing amazing amazing breakfast with amazing server Nikki. We had the chicken sausage sandwich, cheddar and egg sandwich and French toast. The food was top notch. The sweet tea was delicious, just the southern treat we were waiting for after coming from New York. The home potatoes were fantastic (baby potatoes with crispy skins, soft inside and just the right amount of salt). The chicken sausage (house made) was so fresh and flavorful. The berries were so fresh and generously served. The French toast was light and flavor-infused. Nikki was super amazing too: a consummate professional, thoughtful, and so friendly and attentive. She gave us extra serving of sweet tea when we told her how delicious it was. When I asked for extra cheddar for my sandwich, she took the initiative, thought and effort to bring me not just cheddar but also a plate of melted provolone, which she thought would work better and did! When we asked for hot sauce, she brought my husband and me separate tubs. When we said we’d share our French toast, she brought separate plates and a separate tub of syrup for me. She was genuinely interested in where we were from and why we were visiting. When you think of hospitality, thoughtfulness and excellent service (the inn-keeper mentality), this is it! It felt like when we stayed at the Four Seasons. So glad we chose Fall Line for our trip breakfast even though we weren’t staying at the hotel!

After checking out the reviews we dined here twice in the week and happy to say the service and food were exceptional and even better than we expected from a hotel restaurant!! Our choices off the menu the first time were oysters, caesar salad, and pork chop. Second visit was tuna tartare, caesar salad and the fried chicken. The portions are very large and my wife and I split and still had leftovers each time.

We were very grateful to Isaac for patiently walking us through the menu. He was very attentive and regularly checked in on us while waiting for our food. Can’t wait to eat here again!
