Wonderful meal in a pleasant setting. Great conversation with owner. Since my wife and I are not from Richmond it was a great choice to have dinner here. I can definitely understand why the locals like it.

The food here has always been great and the service is quick and friendly.

I've never really realized this before today, but Ginger Thai is hands down the best in town. The price has gone up but it is well worth every penny. I had the Spicy Tom Yum Noodle Soup (as is) and the Pineapple Fried Rice (pork), and my mind (and taste buds) was blown away by the flavor. You can also choose the spicy level as you see fit (mild - make me cry). If you're looking for the best Thai food while in Richmond, come to this place and try their Tom Yum soup. You will not be disappointed.

Came here in a group of 5. Shared things family style: drunken noodles, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and panang curry. The dishes were all okay, but in my opinion they weren't anything exceptional. The pineapple fried rice was very bland in particular. We also got thai teas for some of us, which I enjoyed but the others complained about being *too* sweet. Which is saying a lot, considering it's thai tea. There was also no music, TV, or other media playing in the background which was a bit uncomfortable since it was just my table and one other, making it so that we could hear everything the other table was saying and vice-versa. The experience here wasn't memorable, and it just didn't reach my personal standards even though I wanted it to. The older lady serving us was very nice and patient at least.

Came in for some late lunch. Delicious food and a very easy going atmosphere. I’ve been to a good amount of Thai restaurants and Ginger Thai is definitely in my top three. Wife and I will absolutely come back again! I recommend the Wonton Soup!

The Spicy Basil was the best I've tasted in a long time and I eat Thai food frequently. The gravy was amazing. I only gave 4 stars because the pad thai was a bit sweet for me but boyfriend enjoyed it and the decoy needs updating. Genuinely Authentic! A must try and favorite for me.

This little Thai restaurant is adorable and has a nice patio area. Our waitress was the only one serving and although packed she didn't miss a beat. We waited an extra few more minutes than we normally would but it's nothing when you consider how hard she was working. Now the food was delicious! I had the Chicken Pad Thai and hubby had the Pineapple Fried Rice, and they were generous portions! Great spot to enjoy Carrytown and people watch while on the patio.Great food and service!

I really like their pad Thai flavors. The restaurant gives you small family Resturant feels. The prices were a bit higher than I’d like, but I would definitely go back.

I useally get Pad Thai here, but this time I got Tom Yum. The worst Tom Yum ever. Also service was horrible too. No more this restaurant.

I had a really good experience at this restaurant. The server was very sweet, fast and on top of everything. She never let our glasses go empty. We ordered two soups two Pad thi. Everything was excellent. Food came out in less than 7 minutes and it was hot, accurate and beyond our expectations. We will definitely going back soon.

Truly amazing. Best Thai in Richmond hands down. Don't bother with an other. They actually make thai hot right! I was sweating and that's what I want! Thank you!

Nice lil Thai restaurant in Cary, one of my family's favorite. Their spice level is always up, so pls me mindful in selecting your level. I love my Druken noodle, FR, always. Lil price for a small place like this..
