Food is always great. Service was a bit slow this time but hasn't always been in the past. Called in advance to ask if desserts were made in a Peanut free area and they are not. Was then charged a $15 cake fee for bringing in outside dessert. Will come back again but not for celebrations as they were unwilling to waive the fee due to allergies.
This restaurant is a gem! Small and cozy with excellent comfort foods. The fried green tomatoes and blackened shrimp dish is one of the best things I have eaten from a local restaurant in a while. The oyster poboy is also fantastic. The staff is also an amazing group.

Stopped by for Sunday brunch and this place was packed! We managed to get a spot by the bar and I'm so glad we did because the food was phenomenal. I got the Eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! My husband got the chicken and waffles which came out piping hot and fresh, I got a taste and definitely preferred my choice! Customer service was great and they have a nice patio outside for nicer weather. I feel like I missed out and should have ordered a carrot cake slice to go because it looked divine and all the other reviews mention it. Don't miss out!

Once seated everything was great. I highly recommend a reservation since it can fill up quickly. We heard about this spot from a friend who lives near there. Good thing we're early (5:30) eaters because we might have been turned away since we didn't have reservations.Kid-friendliness: It was a small kids menu, but the options should satisfy any child.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one level with smooth ground. The doorways may be a bit tight for a wheelchair though.
This restaurant has the most delicious food I've had in a long time! I had the Rosemary Chicken and it was truly amazing! The desserts are just as good! The waitstaff is super nice too!

Such a little gem in Richmond! The bee mural just lights up your day, and the food is spectacular - and interesting too! This spot has the best salad menu I've seen in Richmond, hands down. It's not all vegetarian, since many of them come with a protein, but in terms of lighter and more balanced options, it's really refreshing to see. My friend got the Salmon Carrot Salad, and I got the Grilled Shrimp Salad. Both were delicious and unique. I was really impressed with the balance of flavors - and especially how much the pickled sweet peppers added to the whole experience. I really want to come back and try more things on the menu - especially the brunch menu!We sat in the enclosed area outside, which was very pleasant. There's also indoor seating as well. I imagine the outdoor space is probably really nice as the weather gets warmer. The service was great, and the onsite parking is definitely a plus! Will be back for sure! Highly recommend a visit!Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options, all clearly labeled.Dietary restrictions: Everything is clearly labeled, and there are gluten free and vegetarian options.Parking: There's a good sized parking lot here!
