We ordered Road to Damascus (matcha latte w/ oat milk $9), Turkish Delight ($8), and chai coffee cake. The chai coffee cake was very flaky and fell apart very easily. However, the favor was definitely there as it was delicious and not overly sweet. We both enjoyed our drinks.Three cons of this place are the following:1. Prices (we spend around ~$27 for two drinks and 1 pastry w/ tips). This definitely won't be our go-to coffee shop as we want to avoid bankruptcy.2. They turn off their WiFi on the weekends. While the ambience is very lovely, unfortunately we could not be productive.3. There is very limited outlets. In fact, I did not notice any in the upstairs portion of coffee shop.Overall 3/5 from us.

I came with a friend, and I don’t usually drink coffee. I asked the cashier to recommend me a drink. I was recommended their seasonal drink Florida man and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the weather was nice out side and they had the huge roll up door open, had a nice breeze and soft calm music playing. This place was great!

We visited Ironclad during a weekend trip to Richmond and ended up coming back every day for breakfast. The coffee is great, of course, but highly recommend the honey chicken biscuit. Very good. The space is amazing, too, with a nice mezzanine overlooking the rest of the shop. Loved it!

Just spent 4 days in Richmond and we visited the downtown firehouse location twice and the suburban location once. It has everything that this older dude loves. Single origin coffee, they had the Costa Rican, breakfast sandwiches, I had the delicious bacon egg and cheese, fresh in house baked goodies, and comfortable seating. What a great experience! Ironclad was recommended by the very friendly bartender at Richbrau Brewery.

Amazing cappuccinos! The roast was very flavorful and the milk was done very well

Brought my husband here this morning to kick off his birthday. It instantly became our favorite coffee house! From the atmosphere, the music, the delicious and unique coffees, to the delicious breakfast sandwiches and over the top bakery items. It being our first time, we tried a little bit of everything. Their honey chicken biscuit was hands down THE BEST! Triple Berry Scone, out of this world Cinnamon Roll and Chai Coffee Cake all winners. Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is or how impressed we were. We will definitely be back and bring everyone we know! LOVED!

First time I came- Customer service was decent but hard to get the baristas attention. They were unhelpful with recommendations and honestly I didn’t even finish my drink. I was going to give it another try as it’s in my neighborhood. Manager/owner approached me in an unfriendly manor and asked if I was going to purchase anything because I was taking up room. I had plans on trying something else but decided with that attitude I will take my money elsewhere. Not coming here again and don’t recommend.

Love the atmosphere of this coffee roaster. The old brick building has been beautifully redone. The seating areas and cozy and welcoming for hanging out or sitting quietly for work or reading.I had a lavender oat milk latte. The lavender was not a syrup, just the flavor of lavender, which was so delicious! Way too many places go so sweet and it takes over the flavor, but this was so perfect!
