I’m genuinely don’t understand the hype. I’ve tried a “Nashville” chicken sandwich, gumbo, and jambalaya and it was all mid. No flavor and no Cajun taste whatsoever. I’m not sure why I keep trying it hoping it’s different lol but it’s just not

Someone brought me this delicious food to try from Richmond Va and I must say it was delicious!! The chicken dip was amazingly delicious ? could truly eat it everyday! They also brought me the sausage gumbo which was very yummy.I can't wait to visit this food truck when I visit VA✌️.Thank you La Boot Cajun Cuisine :)

Ordered the jambalaya yesterday from the food truck at the Glow Garden. I'm not sure if staff was low or different cook, however the jambalaya did not match the reviews. It was absolutely horrible, dry, flavorless and only had heat. Not good at all. If you're charging consumers please do better.

Never really had a dry jambalaya before, but it tasted like it had been sitting around too long. Not bad, but I’ve had much better. Also had surprisingly little meat for a dish advertising two different ones. The customer service was great but I doubt I’d return based on the food

Bread pudding was ok. The gumbo used such a dark roux the taste was bordering on burnt. I've never had something that used that dark of a roux so it may just not be my thing, but regardless I won't be trying the gumbo again. Others in our group had the Jambalaya and said it was very good and had a good spice level. The service was very quick and friendly.
Held an event where we had special guest LA Boot provide food service for over 100+ people. Open menu style with entree, drink and desserts. Alexander and Lauren are amazing, kind, and have a very friendly spirit. Kept our folks smiling with their southern charm and smiles. We Thank you LA Boot!Vegetarian options: Really good options.Kid-friendliness: Amazing food.

This is my second trip to the food truck and they don’t disappoint. I had the chicken and sausage jambalaya the first time and the seafood gumbo this time. Both are fantastic! Don’t forget the bourbon bread pudding for dessert!

I visited the food truck on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Monroe Park. I purchased Banana Pudding and Bread Pudding. The banana pudding had more whipped cream on top than pudding. The bread pudding was supposed to be with raisins, the raisins were tossed in the container. Not much flavor at all. Not happy with my dessert at all.

Manage a business in downtown Richmond. Contacted Lauren at La Boot and she walked me through ordering lunch for my team of 25. She and Alex personally delivered a gallon of Gumbo and two gallons of Jambalaya. Both were fantastic! Lauren was super conscientious about following up with me periodically before the event and made sure I had everything I needed to serve. Looking for something different for your team lunch or party - go this route. Was a big hit.
