Love the food! Flavorful and they always get the spice level just right. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. We love the ambiance there and it is kid friendly. We love coming here for a nice family dinner.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Lehja on and off for about 6 years because the food was always amazing. We hadn’t been in a few years and were in the area so we went today to get some Chicken Tikka and Naan. Our server was great, the atmosphere was great, but the food, has dramatically changed. The Chicken Tikka was SO bland compared to what we are used to, there was no spice/heat although we ordered medium spice. Honestly the Tikka sauce looked and tasted exactly like the tomato soup appetizer. For $100 for 2 people, and knowing how good the food used to be, I was expecting better. Lemon cuisine of India on Broad Street is my new #1. Their food is great, consistent, and definitely more worth your time.

I used to come here all the time and would always get the chicken tikka masala. Today, service and atmosphere was great BUT for some reason, the chicken tikka was not as good as it used to be. Very weak flavors, no spice and kinda bland. A little disappointed since this was our go to spot for chicken tikka. We will be going elsewhere for now on.

I arrived at my reservation an hour early and decided to wait at the bar. It was cold and rainy outside and I couldn't stomach walking around Short Pump much longer. I ordered a masala chai, and it was so refreshing after being cold and wet all day. The bartender who is also a manager was incredibly friendly and lovely to talk to. The decor in Lehja is warm, colorful and romantic. When my friend and I sat, we both order chais (they are so, so good!) and started with samosas and the curried scallops. Those scallops were incredible. Perfectly charred on the outside, while soft on the inside. For my main, I ordered the duck salli boti, a side of the paneer asparagus lazzatdar, and garlic naan. The duck was two bone-on legs, with meat that just melted off the bone, all served with a delicious tomato-based curry sauce and topped with thin fries. The paneer asparagus was actually my favorite dish, however. The flavors were just incredible. Don't sleep on veggie dishes at an Indian restaurant! The service was very good, everyone was polite and we never had to wait long for anything. The vibe was good, everyone working there seemed in good spirits, which is always nice to see. The food is on the expensive side, so I can't go here often, but it's great for a treat! Hopefully next time, I'll leave room for dessert. 10/10

At one point, Lehja was a phenomenal restaurant and the food was worth the price. Now the food is extremely subpar and too expensive.

A wonderful restaurant with great staff. My food was very flavorful, and I particularly enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer. After my meal I accidentally left something behind and was very thankful they kept it safe for me until I returned. Really standout.

We tried Lehja for the first-time last night and it did not disappoint. They have a large, diverse menu with the typical Indian dishes but also have unique dishes and preparations. The spinach chaat was crispy, savory and delicious. It's not on the menu but be sure to ask as I'm told they almost always have it. Our table each ordered something different and shared and each dish was delicious. We had a duck entree, Spinach and paneer, crab and scallops and chicken biryani and of course, naan. I especially like that you can order every dish to the level of heat desired. The service was good and ambiance delightful. They also have an excellent choice of wines by the glass. We will certainly return!

First time eating here tonight and wow it was absolutely delicious. We had a variety of appetizers that were full of flavor, the blue crab taka tak, tawa chicken, and a kale with pomegranate seeds that I couldn’t name. The owner engaged with us and made recommendations based on our protein preferences. The Shrimp Chicken Zafrani was cooked to perfection with a little grill char to season them. Absolutely will be back and don’t get me started on the naan!

We will never go back. The food is WEAK in terms of Indian flavor which is also basic and can be bought in other Indian restaurants for half a price. I usually order buttered chicken but in this restaurant I wasn't even asked of the spice level. The garlic naan wasn't garlicy. Everything we ordered lacks “Oomph.” One appetizer is served on a half. of a side of a humongous plate which doesn't make sense. A child is running around next to our table the entire time; the parents nor the staff did nothing about it, even spilt a large amount of liquid next to mine and this water on the floor was not dealt with even after we left. Lehja is highly praised and had received a lot of awards; unfortunately they did not meet our expectation.

Fresh. Prepared however we wished it to be done, spice wise... they even customized a couple of dishes for us, substituting chicken for lamb, etc. Outstanding food, outstanding service. This is where company from out of town wants to go every time they visit.

The service was polite and friendly at Lehja, and the atmosphere was lovely. The best part, however, was the delicious food. This was our first visit to Lehja but it certainly won't be our last!

The food was fine. Surprising a little bland though. The service was okay. Not very personable or polite. I would not go out of my way to eat there again but if I were in the neighborhood I would consider it.
