“Saw Roots while out running errands yesterday and thought I'd give it a try after seeing they have tofu on the menu. I can't speak to the atmosphere since I ordered takeout, but the place seemed comfortable enough if I'd wanted to eat in. I got the Southern bowl as-is (but light on the dressing) and was very pleased. This is not junk food so I expected to pay a little more but it's a good value for me since it's fresh high quality nutritious food and it was a big enough serving for me to have half and save the other half for today (having it now). Plastic lid, but biodegradable paper bowl, so less waste generated. It was also nice that I could find the nutrition values for this bowl already in the MyFitnessPal database. Good crew, got in and out quickly given that I got there a little before 4:00PM. Hoping to turn my husband onto this place as well. Gonna look for excuses to run errands near Roots locations from now on.“
