I had the sirloin tacos and they were great! Very tender, flavorful, marinaded beef with a little homemade guacamole, lime and cilantro. Interesting, fresh salsas. Perfect. Nice people. Interesting decor. The "women owned" blah, blah, blah didn't even put me off even though I'm an old, crusty white man. That's how tasty everything was!

The service was excellent from EVERYONE we interacted with. The food was A-Mazing! We had the Tinga de Jamaica, Pastor, and Carne Asada Fries. The drinks were not what I was expecting, but still really good. I got the Golden Years which I thought would be tangy but had a more earthy taste from the saffron, and my husband had the Tiki Tiki Boom which was really good and more on the fruity side. We're from Williamsburg, and we're just visiting from the weekend, but will be making an effort to come here more often now that we know how amazing this place is!

Brunch. The hibiscus mimosas were phenomenal. Loved the fried tortillas and guacamole (although the tortillas were slightly burned). The eggs in the huevos rancheros were hard-cooked. I prefer runny eggs with my huevos rancheros. Our server did not ask how we wanted the eggs. They were served on blue corn tortillas which also seemed to be slightly overdone to me. I added chorizo to mine. This dish also had a flavor overtone of being slightly burned to my palate. I ordered coffee and they did not have milk, half and half or cream (only CoffeeMate), so I tried a coconut milk substitute on the suggestion of staff. It did not appeal to me. Really love the decor with the bright colored tile. A very lively place with lots of energy and potential.

Lolita's has the most amazing tacos! I got the Gorbernador and my hubs got the Baja fish. We shared the grilled octopus and it was delicious!! Definitely check this place out!

The food was amazing! The portion size of everything was perfect. The cocktails were perfectly balanced. Do not let the uniqueness scare you away from them.

Took my girlfriend on St. Patrick’s day and we had a great meal. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very inviting, and we had very attentive service. The food quality was very good considering the reasonable price point. Although I don’t usually revisit restaurants, I would consider doing so for Lolita’s.

Super bland food. Even the salsas (described as mild, medium and hot) were all pretty mild. The food was a huge disappointment. Carne Asada fries were super soggy. Steak was over cooked. Tuna ceviche lacked flavor, only could taste lime. Fish tacos were fried into oblivion, just tasted like oil and mayo slaw. The mushroom quesadilla was soggy. Not worth the price at all. If you want tasty Mexican food go to Conejo!

You can tell how much attention is put into the experience at lolita’s. As soon as you walk in, you notice the beautiful interior design and colorful aesthetic that gives you an authentic upscale Mexican vibe. Everything we had was delicious, and the grilled octopus is a must-have! I highly recommend checking this place out and coming during happy hour to catch the great deals on the unique cocktails!

The margaritas and appetizers were good but the quesadillas were boring/flavorless. Beans were cold. Service was spotty considering a lot of people were at work but seemingly having downtime while I'm waiting for my drink that I had to order twice. I don't understand the high rating.

Absolutely recommend! We came on Taco Tuesday (unplanned, actually) where you can order mix and match tacos for just $5 each, so I tried the Asada, Pastor, and Chori Papa. They were all delicious and the corn tortillas were amazing! I normally hate corn tortillas (and that is not an exaggeration), but these are made in house (and they're purple) and were just so good! They held up so well with even quite wet tacos, without tearing and they tasted good. My favorite was the asada, followed by the chori papa but they were all good. The brussel sprouts were also perfectly crisp, with a balsamic and honey that balanced nicely. I also had the corn cake crumble, which was a delicious way to wrap up the meal. The space itself is super cute, bright and inviting. Very Instagramable if that's your thing. There's a bunch of bar seating as well as standard table seating, but the in-wall booths are definitely my favorite (as someone who needs a way to trap young kids in their seats) and are very cozy. The service was great - so friendly and attentive. We had a great time and were encouraged to come back on a Monday, when they have all day happy hour and other snack specials, so I will be back for sure!Vegetarian options: There is a large selection of vegetarian options. Almost all the appetizers, sides, and desserts are vegetarian, and there are lots of vegetarian entrees as well.Dietary restrictions: My vegetarian friend came to lunch with me and they were able to make her items vegan for her. They use their own corn tortillas (which are delicious), so most of their stuff is gluten free. They also clearly label dairy free items as well.Parking: This is in the heart of Carytown, so there's a lot of street parking, but it all depends on the time of day and your personal luck/timing how close you'll get.Kid-friendliness: It's super cute and the booths are a lot of fun! I have not bring my kids here yet, but it's a place they'd enjoy. I imagine it gets a bit busy on the weekends though.

If you love exotic “mexican” food, this is your spot. Got a CHICKEN quesadilla which ended up being 90% cheese and a PURPLE wrap…tasted fine but not $20 fine. Do NOT recommend unless you’re into this weird stuff. THEY ALSO HAD NO CHIPS AND SALSA, this is not a mexican place and that’s on god.

Went here for the first time the other weekend and it was great. The drinks are pricey but definitely some of the best I’ve had since moving down here from NYC. The atmosphere is super cute and I highly recommend the Tuna Tostada as well as the queso. So good and great for a celebration.

The atmosphere overall is beautiful and the service is good and quick. However the food is bland. The rice is bland and dry. And the server said I could only get two tacos which I thought was weird. But overall is was a cute place but if you want authentic tacos I would go somewhere else.
