This is probably our new favorite local restaurant! Excellent service and atmosphere. I love the Shrimp Tacos and many other meals I have had there. Had the fried green tomatoes-very good with a slight twist with garnishments, really enjoyed them. Price is appropriate for the quality and amount provided. Positive Vibes is one of my favorite restaurants. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. This place is a keeper!

This restaurant/café is not only great in food and service, but they do so much for the local community as well! Their commitment to giving back to the community, especially to those less fortunate, is something I deeply admire and I hope they can get more support. The staff greets you as soon as you enter and their service is friendly and exceptional. The food is tasty and theres so much to choose from. I will be coming back for more!

Great cause, great food, great ambiance! We've eaten takeout from here before and that was always very good. We decided to eat inhouse and we're not disappointed... lots of options for everyone, including many delicious vegan dishes.

Went today for my daughter's 16th birthday. She goes every year and we love Max's! The staff are wonderful amd always make you feel more than welcome. Live guitar music today added to the awesome environment!

I keep trying to like this place for its mission, but the food perpetually disappoints. The service is good, drinks are good, but the food is bland, under spiced and at times over or under salted or overcooked. Last week I thought I finally found something I could enjoy there, but alas, I ordered the gluten free cauliflower wings again last night and had to send them back (which I NEVER do anywhere). The musicians lately have been excellent, so I will eat at home first and only order drinks.

I have been trying to like this place for years, but the food consistently disappoints. The concept of training people with disabilities for restaurant jobs is great, but the food is consistently mediocre. We go for the music and order food so that our stay is worth it for the staff, but I just can't do that anymore. The shrimp and grits were bland and lacking salt; at other times food has been over salted. I've had bland over-cooked fish, under cooked sauces. I recently tried the gluten free cauliflower wings appetizer and it was surprisingly good, but tried it again and it was so awful I had to send it back (which I never do). Everyone seems pleased with the drinks, though. I will eat first, then go for the music and the drinks from now on. The staff is great.

Disorganized from get go- waitresses are volunteers but should have some semblance of what to do - she or they were in a daze, she didn’t know about menu, never took our order, appetizer cold poorly prepared - this was second time here and first time was just as negative, gave up trying to order dinner and left - I had a reservation which was never recorded / just lots of missteps
No no no. While I love what they are doing...they need to do it better. Service was awful. Never knew who my server was. The fried green tomatoes where cold and terrible. We finally left and went to Otools...never going back ....

So this is a first for me ... I'm rating this restaurant before I taste anything . It's spacious and clean . Very inviting and warm. The hostess greeted us immediately with a smile . As I flipped through the menu I was shocked to see vegan dishes offered from Appetizers all the way through to Dinner. That's amazing .

What a cool restaurant with a cool mission. If you ever want to go to a place that is completely FILLED with awesomely nice people this is the place. Nice relaxed but upbeat atmosphere. They have a good list of live music including some cool jazz. Better than expected beer selection. I found on of my faves there that I could not most other places. Sit at the bar in regular seats, or at the bar at a barstool, or at a high top table, or at a normal table, or at a booth. They have the seating options. Did I mention the cool mission? Go. Just go.
