“We ordered a catered lunch for work which included chicken and lamb kabobs, yellow and white rice, hummus and pita, tabouli, grape leaves, Greek salad and baklava. EVERYTHING was delicious. So flavorful and freshly made! And the presentation was beautiful! The kabobs and rice were piping hot and the salads and hummus were cool and fresh. Everything had just the right amount of spices. And the baklava was the best I’ve ever had and my colleagues were in agreement. The owner went out of his way to prepare an amazing catered lunch. It was beyond 5 stars. We will definitely be ordering again from 2MPS.“
“My son and I go there when we visit Richmond. We have the Mixed platters. I like the hot sauce. My son likes the white. Either one you will not be disappointed. The food and service are wonderful. Everything is made to order, fresh, and hot. The atmosphere is low key nice and clean. Thank you Carytown Gyro for a wonderful dining experience everytime.“

“The place is nice and big but mostly takeout, so dine in or groups eat privately. The marinade on the chicken is good and spicy. Make sure you get the side cup of chick peas with your meal. They didn't answer last time I called though, must have been a technical problem.“
“Happened upon Sahara on a Sunday (en route to the Hippodrome for an event).. walked in - it was empty and quiet, but Mariam (owner) came out and welcomed us. So glad we stayed! Delicious food, including complimentary lentil soup and a delicate spice tea!“
