Tiny, hip place down from church hill. Booths are a little tight, but that's my only criticism. The food was spot on. Ingredients were fresh and recipes were not over complicated. Each ingredient shined. Look forward to next time and trying more things.

Impressive is what it is. A great discovery for me. The small diner feel permeates the atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and are there for the customers. The cuisine is fantastic, delicious and plating makes it a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

We enjoyed taking our teenage son to Millie's for the first time. He loved the shrimp and grits and the vibe of the place. The service was excellent and I think Millie's has a new patron for years to come.

We've been going to Millie's on our visits to Richmond for years but this time I was a little disappointed. My husband ordered 3 different beers before he found one they weren't out of, the corned beef hash was extremely salty and the potatoes were undercooked, and they forgot to put the egg on the sandwich. There were just a few tables there for lunch at 1pm so they weren't very busy. I'll give it another shot at some point (it's been a favorite of ours for years). The service was great, but without the usual crowds of people and energy we're used to, it seems a bit run down. Sorry.

Had the avocado omelette with side of shrimp. Shrimp was cooked perfection. Omelette was delicious. Waitress was on point. Didn't have to wait for anything to be delivered. This is, however, one of my go to places as we love it there.

Food was great; service was stellar. Only issue was the noise level. It was hard to hear the conversation between our dining companions. Small, tight space is always going to be loud. Didn't need to be piping in loud background music on top of the high-volume conversations.

This punk vibe diner is spot on. Service was fantastic and ask for seat with a view of the chef’s doing their thing.

Went there for the first time on Sunday, this place is top tier. There's an open kitchen, you can see people working hard to give you a great experience. The servers/food runners are nice...THE FOOD THOUGH! Man seasoned perfectly, tasty. 10/10

A fantastic brunch. made a reservation the same day and everyone was super accomodating. We ordered both specials. a tuned up crunch wrap supreme and a Japanese pork pancake. Both very random entrees to be specials but done perfectly.

We were thrilled to find Millie's menu has expanded, including lovely dishes that complement the original menu, like the scrambled eggs with lobster and steak with poached eggs and hollandaise. Prices were still surprisingly reasonable, with elevated options but retaining the ambiance and taste we anticipated. The spicy Bloody Mary's were as lovely as we remembered. Ruth, our enthusiastic waitress, only perfected our dining experience.

Had a hair in our grits, told the waitress she said sorry, I'll bring you another one and never offered to comp it. We had to pay extra to get grits as a side so the nice thing to do was to comp the side. She didn't seem bothered by the huge hair either. It was odd. My lobster and eggs was just ok... lacking flavor. Terriable parking options, very small booths. Overall, not worth it to visit again.
