So looking forward to treating my daughter, visiting from Atlanta, and it was a disappointment. The tuna tataki was beautifully rare tuna but was completely lacking in flavor. The true rice cracker were a nice surprise. I ordered the duck breast and asked for it to as pink as possible; it came out without a hint of pink and completely absent of the pecan crunch I was expecting by the description. Unfortunately the flavor of miso and Parmesan was non existent also. My daughter had the Va Rock fish and the only flavor was a the spicy sauce; the delicate wonderful rock fish was utterly over powered. Not a trace of a trumpet mushroom. Having eaten fresh Va seafood and duck breast at Shagbark, Adrift, Merrior, Edo Squid, stable house, Belmont, the old Spoonbread etc etc. this restaurant is soarly lacking. It is trying too hard and loosing the battle between flavorful dishes and trying to find something different. Very limited bar selection and wine and beer list also.

Don't be deceived by the simple decor. The food is excellent! We both had tilefish entree. Fresh and well prepared, sitting atop a nice size bed of braised veggies. I'd requested lo sodium. And voila! That's exactly what i received. Friendly service. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended.

Went here with a friend to try it out and was NOT disappointed. It is obvious that folks have taken a lot of care to select each and every piece of the menu here. We appreciated some delightful wine recommendations, the delicate flavors of each sauce garnish, and the warm ambiance in which to have a quiet evening's meal. Definitely support this spot to make sure they can stick around-- you won't regret it!

Picture speaks for itself. Menu is limited but lucky me to be an extreme crab lover. It seems that everywhere that has a smaller menu and and limited seating has secret gems. The service was lovely. The food came out surprisingly quick ( I do think it depends on what you get). Overall very pleased and full!

Small place which makes it more intimate. We went with a big group of friends and we had exceptional service. Food was great with a lot of variety to cover vegetarians and omnivores alike! Would definitely recommend it!

We heard about this wonderful (sister branch of Alewife) place and I requested my husband to go here for my birthday. It's the old Billy Pie's location so parking may be tricky if you have not been to this place or are familiar with the area.Reservations were easily done through Open Table and we were seated pretty quickly right after walking through the doors. I feel like the cocktail drinks were okay (if you haven't gone to Alewife yet...I would suggest hitting up Odyssey first before Alewife. The cocktails are unique and just fantastic at Alewife.) For appetizers, we decided on Bluefin tuna crudo and beef tartare. BOTH were fantastic and the flavor was just delicious. Highly recommend the Bluefin if it's still on the menu. Then as the main course, my husband ordered their Scallops and I got their Local Trout - Congee, Nori, Togarashi. For my personal taste, I love getting the whole fish whenever it's available (it may be just my background thing). The local trout dish was amazing! The flavor of the congee and the combo of how the local trout was cooked was just...perfection. The scallops were pretty good too but I'm pretty sure my husband wanted more scallops on his dish haha. When it came around dessert time, I would've been tempted BUT...Blue Cow Icecream is right across the street - and they're pretty good if you love icecream... (I guess you can get the hint that we went elsewhere for dessert.)The food was delish, again I would recommend coming here before going out to Alewife. Staffs were great and the ambiance was pretty relaxing and can be tight if all the tables are taken up. Oh and talk about timing! We didn't have the kids for the evening and we were done with our meal in 45 mins! haha, You bet your butt we went back home to change back into our PJs and chilled! haha

Odyssey is a new-ish seafood restaurant at the corner of Three Chopt and Patterson. We decided to go out for dinner at the last minute and were happy we could get reservations. The restaurant is small and open, with a pizza oven as the main cooking vehicle. The menu is largely seafood, with a burger on the menu for culinary landlubbers. My husband hates seafood, so I didn't try any of the cold seafood appetizers. We spilt the olives and cucumber salad; both were excellent. The cucumber salad had a spicy, tart dressing that made my husband want to lick his plate. The very generous portion of olives had an interesting selection, and were served with candied orange peel - great combo! Of course, no one should go to Odyssey without ordering the dinner rolls with sour butter, yuzu marmalade, and roe. The rolls were warm and fluffy, and the marmalade out of this world! For dinner my husband had the brisket burger and chips, and I had the local trout with tomatoes. My husband said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. I tried a bite and agree - the smoked cheddar, pepper relish, and spicy aioli made for a delish, ooey-gooey bite. The only disappointment was the burger is served with every day potato chips. It would have been better with fries, kettle chips, or some other interesting side. The trout was amazing. Tender, flaky, with a wonderfully crispy crust. The accompanying tomatoes and seasoning complemented the freshness of the fish perfectly. Service was friendly and not rushed. Wine selection small but well-curated. Overall, a lovely dining experience.

The owners nailed it with their concept. Outstanding from the size / ambience of the place to the service - in between is the food which is the real prize. A great vibe, a real gem.

Amazing experience! Beautifully decorated, intimate space, with great natural light, and open kitchen. The kitchen itself is minimal, which makes the quality of the dishes that much more impressive. Incredibly fresh ingredients and gorgeous presentation. Friendly chef and staff, accompanied by an open-flame oven as the primary cooking method, and a beachy-relaxed decor. You really can't go wrong here. Hats off to the Odyssey team for a truly enjoyable evening!

I have been twice, once for dinner... AMAZING!!! And once again for brunch on Sunday. If you are a smart person, (and I know you are), you will choose this as your destination. Quaint friendly full service restaurant, Chef Bobo makes some of the best food in the whole Westhampton area. From the appetizers to dessert he puts his magic to work. Try the white burgundy. It goes with anything chef serves up. JUST GO.
