Not sure why so many bad reviews lately! We thought it was really good. I got the minced pork sandwich combo. They have really good fries and I liked their bbq sauce too.

The woman at the register was absolutely wonderful. The inside has a small town atmosphere. However, the food was not good, it wasn't even edible. I had the meat (brisket) platter. I think they reheated leather. Trying to cut through it with plastic utensils was almost impossible. The sides were ok. Look at the picture and see for yourself. I gave them 2 stars because the people were friendly. The food 0 stars.

It's a little "hole in the wall," which would be ok if the food were killer. Alas, they apparently smoke the meat elsewhere. So I got a kind of greasy, non aromatic blob of minced pork. I was hoping for something similar to King's bbq, which has oak smoked meat with tart vinegar based sauce. Hoping for that, I asked for extra sauce, and the very nice lady gave it to me. When I got home, I tried the sauce. It was vinegar based, but waaaaay too sweet for me. The carrots cake was very good. So still looking for a good bbq restaurant?

Placed my order by phone at 11:53am l. Told the waitress Harley no gravy no onions on my 2 meatloaf platters. I go to pick up my order and they both have gravy and onions. She was very rude about the entire situation. Saying she was busy and did I want the meatloaf replaced and I said yes. She would not replace the entire platters so by the time I received the new meatloaf it was then 12:51pm almost a hour later (btw the entire time I'm waiting in the parking lot) and so the sides from the first order were completely cold. I was absolutely taken back by her service. I come here with my family alot and she was very rude. So I left with cold sides cold hush puppies and hot meatloaf then she completely forgot my drinks I had to go back inside to get them.

I ordered the 1/2 chicken platter, and the skin was slimy, undercooked, and had no seasoning at all. The chicken seemed like it was oven cooked, not grilled. The fried okra tasted like grease, and the mac and cheese was bland.
A lil mom and pop place. I had the pulled pork sandwich meal to go, by the time I reached work, which was 3mins, the sandwich was soggy and falling apart. Flavor was ok, nothing to write home about, portion was plenty. That bbq sauce is horrible. Service was great. Please switch to SWEET BABY RAYS BBQ SAUCE.
