Whether you are looking for a new Brewery to try out, or just want to enjoy a pint with a phenomenal atmosphere, RIchbrau Brewing is the place to go! Among the many breweries in the City of Richmond, Richbrau is definitely my favorite! The atmosphere of the street it is on, and the interior give major industrial vibes, and I quite like that! So, if you're in the RVA area, be sure to stop in to Richbrau for a Pint!!!!

A cozy brewery with plenty of options on the tap list. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is a great place for anyone to grab a pint!I had a flight of two sours, a brown ale, and an imperial stout. (King of Strays, Cranberry Carousel, Richbrau Brown Ale, and Edgar)All tasted exactly as they are advertised, definitely had some refills.

Flying out of Richmond in the AM and thought we'd try DT Richmond; well we came across Richbrau and wandered in. What a find. Best beers on our whole trip and when they brew tasty IPAs along with an exceptional Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, (13.5%ABV) this place does it right. Not excited to order pizza but when we saw the honey peperoni, we thought we'd give it a try. It was excellent, crust soso, but the sauce, toppings and the blend with honey, totally hit the spot. Our bar tender was great, very friendly and he filled us in on the local lore as well as where the names of their beers came from, super cool. We had a great visit, keep up the great brewing. If you're in the area, and you like beer, this is the spot.

My wife and I first time here. We typically will leave if you can't get a sample. We asked and was told we could get a flite. I said No Flite but asked if you pour it and I don't like it will you pour me a different beer which has happened before at other breweries. The response was we poured it, you bought it. In fact the beertender wouldn't pour my beer until I gave him my credit card. That's just not the way I operate!! Both beers were good but pricey. We will not be back.In response to your critique of my review it will stay as stated. Your assessment of us coming in all Hot and upset is completely inaccurate. I never badgered or talk down to any of your staff and I was served 1 beer for my wife and my beer stayed beneath the tap until I gave my credit card to your bartender. That being said....with over 17000 reviews on Google and over 60 million hits...stopping at literally hundreds of breweries, distilleries and wineries across North America my review stands as written. Yours is only the third establishment to not pour a splash for taste! I call it like I see it.

You won't find no better nowhere. Outstanding beer, surprisingly delicious food, and the friendliest staff either side of the Mississippi. No doubt my favorite brewery in the Richmond area. Not to mention they have the ambiance of a mysterious yet still comforting and picturesque Malibu sunset - a very swell ambiance indeed. Richbrau for life

The breakfast sandwiches are so delightful and satisfying. The service is quick and easy, very little waiting. The pricing I found sometime a bit higher than NYC. The coffee was dreamy though. The outdoor dining area was packed so getting there early helps.
